We have a welcoming ground floor, 723 sq. ft. one bedroom condiminium at the Kihei Kai Nani complex across the street from a beautiful beach, Kamaole II, in Kihei (240 paces to sand). Kamaole II is a beautiful golden sand beach (rated as one of the 15 best beaches on Maui by the well respected Maui Revealed), which is both long and wide and has a nice snorkeling reef at its end. It has a lifeguard during the day and is shallow, making it family friendly. A short walk away are Kamaole I and III and a well maintained pathway is available for walkers and joggers that will take you from one beach to another all the way down to beautiful and exclusive Wailea (a relaxing 2 mile shoreline walk). There are benches situatated along this pathway to allow for resting and Whale Watching during the December - March timeframe, when the Whales are frequently seen frolicking just off shore.
Kihei Kai Nani is located adjacent to a number of shops and restaurants, making it possible to stay here without the need for a rental car. The Maui bus stops by on S. Kihei road, just outside the complex, for non-walking distance outings.
The unit is fully furnished for you to enjoy your vacation in Maui. It has an ideal location in the complex with a garden view, giving it the advantage of privacy, so that you can sit quietly on the lanai and enjoy breakfast or read a book or simply enjoy hearing the birds. It is also steps away from the large freshwater pool and the main office and laundry facilities. The staff at Kihei Kai Nani is very helpful and will assist with informational needs.
Recent updates include kitchen & tiled countertops, newer tiled flooring and new carpeting. It has a TV/DVD/Radio in the Living room as well as a TV in the bedroom. Cable TV, free wireless internet is included and number of books and movies are also available for your enjoyment. An outdoor BBQ is feet way from the Lanai, and some beach play equipment is provided.

Kihei Kai Nani has an outstanding location, directly accross from Kamaole II beach, rated one of the top 10 beaches on Maui by the well-respected Maui Revealed travel guide. The beach has lovely golden sand and is both wide and long with a good snorkeling reef at its end. If you walk 3 minutes, you are on Kamaole III, another very long, beautiful beach! Both beaches have lifeguards during daytime and are nice and shallow for families. If you are a walker or jogger, there is a pathway connecting the beaches from Kamaole II all the way do Wailea (2 miles one way). What a lovely and exhilirating walk! From Kihei Kai Nani, you are able to stay in a comfortable unit at an affordable price, be minues from a lovely beach and steps from a great pool, while being minutes drive or walk away from ritzy Wailea, the best of both worlds!

We are a family of three, who fell in love with Maui when visiting from Michigan. The lovely mild weather and friendly people of Maui make every day here seem magical. The snorkeling here is excellent and so is the dining. There are ample of opportunities to enjoy pristine natural beauty, from one of the highest mountains anywhere, to double rainbows, to turtles popping out their heads to nibble on growth on rocks by the shore. My wife and I spent 3 weeks in November in this unit. It was our 3rd visit in as many years to Maui but our 1st time in this Unit. Liz was prompt and helpful when we arranged for the condo and offered suggestions to facilitate everything. The Unit was clean and comfortable and very convenient to parking, pool, laundry and beach etc.We heartily recommend this unit for anyone looking for a comfortable home in paradise whether for 1 week or 2 or more.

Me and my wife stayed in this condo for 15 nights in May 2011 and had a great time! This is an ideal location, minutes to walk to the beach. Very nice accomodations, pool, great kitchen with everything you need to cook and save money. Very quiet, but close to the pool and laundry room. The staff is very friendly and the grounds are very well taken care of at all times. Great place to spend a week or two and it has a couple places right next door to eat or you can walk a couple blocks to shopping and several nice restuarants. Parking is great as well, and just a few feet from your front door. Great deal and nice owners! We have recommended to others and will come back again! If you are lucky enough to be there at the right time there is a banana tree by the front door and if you ask the yardman nice, he will give you some right off the tree! Thanks Liz!

We have stayed here many times and always come back. Two weeks in April, with the best weather ever, walk to the beach and sunset, shopping, convenience stores or restaurants - very clean & quiet ground floor condo, great pool, friendly staff - all the things that you need for a great vacation. Liz & Chuck are great to work with, always return my emails or calls very promptly. I tell all my friends and family about this listing because I know they will like it and you will too.

We stayed here for 5 nights in March. The unit was very clean and well supplied with all the amenities one would need for the area. The kitchen had everything you would want for cooking, with a bar-b-que very close by. The unit was quiet, cool (no need for the airconditioner) and in a great location, close to the pool and the beach. The grounds of the complex had a variety of interesting trees, herb gardens and are very well kept. The owners Liz and Chuck were very accomodating to our needs and responded quickly to any of our questions. We really enjoyed our stay in this unit and would stay there again on our next visit.

This condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beach is very close (Right across the street!) and there are great restaurants for any meal within walking distance. Of course you certainly don't have to eat out as the kitchen has everything you need to store groceries and make meals.

My husband and I spent a week here and found this condo perfect for us. It was well equiped with everything we could have wanted and it was really close to the beach just as advertised. There were great restaurants very close by as well as many little shops to stroll through.The staff was friendly and very helpful. We would definitly stay here again if we were to visit Maui.

The area couldn't be nicer, the people are friendly and the condo is perfect for my friend and I. Complete amenities, plenty of space and just a short walk to the beach. Maui's sunsets are so beautiful everyone should take the time to come and enjoy this paradice.

We stayed in this condo for 3 weeks in September and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condos have concrete walls and ceiling so good sound insulation from other units. The unit had a foam mat for an infant to play on, boogie boards, a good snorkel mask and a nice big beach tent umbrella. They also have a current Maui Revealed Guide and natural pest control sprays instead of the toxic spray cans (important with small children). The unit was nicely updated, ground level with well stocked kitchen utensils. They had an air conditioner though it wasn't needed most of the time due to the good airflow. The lanai (porch) was nice and private with little foot traffic and no buildings, parking lots or malls in view. Condo was close enough to the beach to run and catch the sunset. Kihei Kai Nani has one of the largest pools on the South Kihei strip and the staff were generally friendly and helpful when we needed something. The location on the strip is good - close to some good restaurants but nice little complex with a good layout and nice feel to it. The owners Liz and Chuck were very attentive to our needs and wanted to make sure our stay was everything we hoped. We would rent this condo again and would recommend it to others. This is a ground floor unit with easy access and far enough away from South Kihei Road so no road noise. There is no direct sunshine in the unit but it's well screened so good airflow. The great feature of the complex is being right opposite Kamaole 2 beach, also shops & restaurants are close by. Had a good stay, would return again.

My wife and I stayed in your condo in Oct 09. Kihei is our favourite vacation destination and the Kai Nani is our choice location when we are there, it is centrally located to all the amenities you will need and the beach is right across the street ! and what a beautiful beach it is. We enjoyed our stay , the complex is very clean, the pool is a wonderful gathering place and the people are so friendly. Our condo was well equipped , clean , quiet and private. We will be back
