Hello and welcome to our vacation rental web site! You're looking at a picture of not one but two, second generation Florida natives. You won't find too many of those anywhere. They call us crackers and we learned to swim before we could walk. For the sake of genetic improvement to the species, we opted not to have kids and to have careers and money instead. I'm a semi-retired business manager (UCF graduate) and my husband is a retired software engineer (FSU graduate) who worked in aerospace and commercial industries. We also co-own a software development firm in Orlando which creates and supports legal applications. Recently retired and loving it, we get away whenever we can love to go any and everywhere. The picture shows one of our favorite trips, a helicopter ride over the glaciers in Alaska. Of course, our beach here in Ormond is our favorite place!
Why the Owner Chose Ormond Beach
While still busily working, we decided the stresses of our careers required more quality play time. To that end we researched everywhere that was commutable from Orlando. We wanted something that would be easy to get to, have great amenities and be close to major attractions such as Disney, Sea World, Universal, the space coast and St. Augustine. Whatever we chose would have to be comfy enough for long term living and full time retirement someday. We also enjoy going out to movies and to truly fine dining, not just run of the mill tourist restaurants. Of all the places in Florida, from Palm Coast all the way to Satellite Beach and beyond, we liked Ormond Beach the best. It has a terrific ambiance with a small upscale feel but with quality upscale shopping and restaurants. I don't get bored here, no matter how long we stay. We thoroughly enjoy our relaxing time here and are happy to share it with our long term vacation renters who've been coming for years. They love it too so we think we chose wisely.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
It's easy to get here and to live here. Everything is close by and our parking spot in the garage is right next to the door. Super easy. Our balcony is terrific. It's big and is right on the beach, up high enough to have a long-view vista but close enough to watch the crabs running around. We have a dining table and chairs and our favorite place to eat is at home on our own balcony. And our beach itself is the best. No Cars!! We take our lawn chairs and umbrellas and we're good for the day. Plus we love the coquina sand, it makes the shoreline more beautiful and interesting with depression and tide pools, sometimes with creatures in them. Our pool is big, heated and I love to swim. We also love driving Tamoka Park and one of the top 100 scenic drives in the USA, "the Loop" which circles Tamoka Park and goes through spectacular marsh scenery. We also enjoy the local Art's scene and there is plenty of it here. We have a good view of shuttle launches and can easily drive to Jetty Park for an even closer look. My kitchen is great, it cooks easy with a surprising amount of counter space. And I can stand at the kitchen sink and look directly at the beach while I'm cooking. But best of all, we love our naps!! Open the windows, hear the ocean, feel the breeze and zzzzzzz, we're out. It doesn't get any better than that.

Right on the beach, gorgeous views of the ocean, quiet non-driving portion of the beach, but yet close to the everything. Our family has vacationed at this condo for the past several summers & we love it!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

I have been a regular guest at this condo in Ormond. It is fantastic, totally relaxing and the view is unsurpassed. From the living room, you directly see the ocean from two directions and indirectly see it from a third due to the full length mirrored wall. The master bedroom also has a fantastic huge window that runs the entire length of the room looking out to the ocean and pool, and has a whole wall of mirrors. Everything is light and bright. The furnishings are comfortable and the location is excellent. Everything is always clean and in good condition. You can get to stores and great restaurants withing 3 minutes. This is a winner.
