Why the Owner Chose Vaticano (St. Peters & Vatican)
We were born in Rome and love our beautiful city where we live. We love travelling abroad and we are happy to meet travelers in Rome and give them a nice experience in our apartment.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
The apartment is located in a building with big trees and plants. It is very safe and very silent. All windows are located in front of the private building garden. There is a terrace on top of the building that may be used from all the building owners (almost all days of the week). It is a good place to relax and take some sun.
One of the best and characteristic open markets of Rome. Fresh food, High quality, very cheap.
Connected with Termini railway station (the main railway staiton). S.Pietro station is good to go to the seaside (sanata marinella)and to the ships (Civitavecchia Port)to Sardinia Island.

I rented Michela's apartment for 6 weeks from June 24 until August 7th 2011 with my then 18 month old twin boys. Michela was extremely accomodating and helpful as I needed to plan ahead for my trip with such young boys. The apartment was exactly what I wanted and needed. It was perfect for us. Conveniently located near the subway, Trifonale Market and great for shopping. I couldnt have picked a more perfect place for us to stay in and her rates were more than reasonable for such an extended stay. Grazie ancora Michela. Ci vediamo presto !

My wife and I stayed at this great property for a week in October and we couldn't have been more pleased. Michela provided a bunch of information prior to our arrival which made getting to the apartment easy after our long flight, and she was waiting outside when we arrived. The location is perfect, it is close enought to the Vatican to enjoy it but not be overwhelmed with crowds. The apartment itself is very quiet for being in Rome. A cab stand and the Metro is only 2 blocks away so enjoying the rest of the city was simple. There are markets and grocery stores around as well as tons of great restaraunts and places to get gelato. Everything was as advertised if not MUCH better and I have already recommended this place to friends who are thinking of visiting Rome.

We spent 4 nights here in September. Michela was welcoming and flexible in accommodating our arrival time. It's in a safe & convenient neighborhood very near the Vatican, but within walking distance to many other sites and the Metro. There is a great little supermarket just down the street. The courtyard and rooftop terrace both provide extra relaxation space. 2nd bed is a fold out, but plenty enough space with good size closets. Kitchen was fully equipped & all linens provided. We would definitely recommend & would stay here again.

We had a great stay. The location was very convenient and we felt very safe. We were able to get around with ease. The rooms were clean and neat. Michaela met us and gave us good information. The hair dryer was missing and she brought one over promptly. There was only airconditioning in the bedroom but that was not a problem because we were able to open the windows and get plenty of fresh air(it was in June) The windows opened into a private courtyard. Internet was the only problem we had. We had an IPAD and you can't use the thumbdrive to load up internet like you can on a regular computer. There was an internet cafe around the corner that we were able to use though. Thank you Micheala!

My husband & I and our 2 children stayed here for a week while experiencing Rome. It's a great refuge especially for weary travelers who want to be away from all the tourist traps. It was exactly as described and the location was perfect. It's only 1 block from the main subway stop and there are 2 local markets that made our trip! The trionfale at the end of the block and IN's market are gems for foodies who dont want to spend a fortune on sodas and quality food. Michela( the owner) provided us with all the information we needed and had great communication before, during, and after our stay. When I return to Rome I will definitly try to stay here again!

We found the apartment to be everything it was billed to be. Clean, comfortable and convenient. The proximity to the metro line made it a great place to stay and be able to get anywhere desired quickly and easily. The market down the street offered excellent options for food shopping. With the windows opening on to a private courtyard it felt like being out of the city but with all the benefits of being in the city. We hope to get back soon and would hope to be able to stay again. Thaks for a great stay!
Owner response:I want to thank Matt and Valerie because they are some of the best guests I have had in my apartment. Punctual, polite, clean and very friendly. I unfortunately did not meet them personally because I was not in Rome when they arrived, but I had the chance to talk with Matt on the phone. He is really a nice person, correct and responsable. They are also very kind and left a small gift for me on the day of their departure also if we had never met. They left the apartment clean, tidy and on time. I do hope to meet Matt and Valerie in the future and I think that all owners should be proud of having them in their property. Thank you Matt and Valerie for choosing my apartment. Michela

My wife and I spent three weeks at this location and it was a wonderful experience. The location was within walking distance to the Metro Trains and there were many restaurants and cafés in the immediate area. The neighborhood and the neighbors were very polite and accommodating. The owner Michela speaks English very well, and made herself readily available if we had any questions. There is a large market place within walking distance to purchase a variety of fresh foods. I would definitely stay there again.
Owner response:Gary and is wife are very good guests, friendly and polite. They kept the apartment as if it was their home. They were on time for the check in and check out. I do really reccomend them to all rental owners.

We had a short stay in this apartment at the end of a long trip through Italy, and I'd be happy to return. It's extremely spacious for two people, and the fact that it opens only onto a garden courtyard (windows in every room) makes it nice and quiet. It's great to find a rental in Rome where I can sleep without earplugs! The bed happens to be particularly comfortable, too, and the apartment is furnished/decorated in a way that's tasteful and homey at the same time. Best of all, however, is the fact that it's only a few blocks away from the wonderful, wonderful Trionfale market. As someone who likes to cook, I think that might be my favourite place in all of Rome. With this apartment, it's close enough to nip out for freshly-baked bread and sheep ricotta for breakfast. I'd move here if I could!
Owner response:I want to thank Jen for her good feedback and for being such a good guest. I am so happy she appreciated the Trionfale market beacause I do love it so much too. Thank you Jen also for saying that the apartment is furnished/deorated in a tasteful and homey way...I was waiting to here this good feedback from some of my guests! Well, I am sure to say that Jen is obviously reccomended to all rental owners.

We are a couple from Canada who enjoyed the apartment so much that we stayed at this apartment for a second time in two years. The flat was clean, well maintained and secure. The owner was gracious, helpful and punctual when meeting to hand over her keys. She also provided materials we found helpful for exploring Rome. We were a two minute walk from the Vatican museums and 1 minute from the metro station. There was a charming market and a supermarket an easy stroll away. Banks and restaurants were convenient to the flat and we felt safe walking the neighbourhood. The next time we go to Rome we will be sure to try and book the same apartment again.
Owner response:I do thank this couple that came from Canada. This was the second time they came and they also have been the first to come when I started to rent my apartment. I am so happy they came again and that they appreciated their first and second stay here in my property. I do recommend them to all owners, they are so nice and educated persons. Michela

My wife and I stayed in this apartment for 3 nights in July 2010. It's proximity to public transport and to the Vatican Museums is indeed fantastic. We did not even have to take a taxi from the airport hopping on the Leonardo Express and then the Metro instead. The owner's friend greeted us upon arrival. She timed it perfectly, so we did not have to wait even a minute. The information packet in the apartment was very valuable complete with shopping and restaurant suggestions (don't miss the local gelato shop!). We also received some valuable advice on visiting the Vatican museums. Michela and her sister Francesca are wonderful and knowledgeable hosts. We were in touch by phone and SMS prior to and during our stay, and all our questions were answered promptly and precisely. We had stayed in Rome a few times before, but this was our first time renting a property via VRBO, certainly not our last. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone seeking convenience, privacy and reasonable pricing. Thank you, Michela and Francesca!
Owner response:Konstantin and is wife are very good guests, friendly and polite. They left the apartment tidy and clean. We were in contact by phone while they were in Rome and it was a pleasure for me. They were on time for the check in and check out. I do really reccomend them to all rental owners since they used my apartment as it was their own. Thank you Konstantin, I hope to have you again in Rome in the future.
