If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the quiet, or if you just want a home base to come to while enjoying the unlimited activities of the area, you will enjoy our secluded location with no traffic. If feels like you’re in the woods in the country, but you can actually get to just about anyplace in Tulsa in less than 20 minutes. There is also a Wal-Mart Super Center 2 miles away.
The Bungalow is on the lower level totally isolated from the main floor of our home in Broken Arrow, Ok. There is 1 set of stairs to the Bungalow.
It is 900 sq ft, 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, with living area, dining, and kitchen all in one large open area. For your enjoyment & to stay cozy in the winter, there is a gas log rock covered fireplace along with central air and heat.
We have a covered patio with tables & chairs where you may sit & relax & enjoy our beautiful tree-covered back yard while you cook out on the provided grill. We have grandkids, therefore our yard is very kid friendly!
We have a wooden fort with swings & slipper slide & a tire swing hanging from a huge oak tree. There’s also a large sand pile with plenty of toys to keep your kids busy. And if you like to play horse shoes, we have a horseshoe pit. If you like to bike we have a 30 mile paved bike trail ½ mile from our home.
There’s always something going on in Tulsa and you shouldn’t have any trouble keeping busy while you are here. Some of the activities within minutes of our home would include The new BOK Arena and Convention Center, Bass Pro Shop, Rhema Bible College, ORU, JW Davis Gun Museum, Gilcrease Museum, Jenks aquarium, Tulsa zoo, miniature golf, theatres, Tulsa Performing arts center, Brady Theater, Philbrook Art Museum, Keystone Lake, Ft. Gibson Lake, and more than we have room to list. There is always something going on at the Fair Grounds.

10 minutes from Rhema, 15 minutes from ORU, 15 minutes from Jenks Aquarium, 20 minutes from the Tulsa Zoo, 20 munutes from the Tulsa Fair Grounds, 20 minutes from the BOK Convention Center.

We had the opportunity to stay at this bungalow during our vacation 3 weeks ago. Even though we were initially apprehensive about staying in someone's home since we had never done in all our years of travelling, there is no doubt we would do this again and again. The rooms were comfortable, yard very family friendly, and our hosts very pleasant. Our kids felt right at home throughout our stay, and travel back and forth to the Tulsa and Broken Arrow areas were very convenient. We would recommend this bungalow to families and others who desire a mini-home away from home while on vacation.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Spent October fall break week here and was great place to have our grandkids stay nights with us. Our granddaughter from Indiana came with us so she loved spending the time with her cousins as well. Our grandkids are older 10-16 yrs- but they enjoyed the yard and games. So much better than a hotel room for us and our daughter appreciated "time off" from the kids while preparing her house to sell. We appreciated returning here to relax after a day of painting and packing! We were just 15 minutes away from their home. We will definitely check this out again out for future visits.

We would highly recommend this place to anyone. In a beautiful, quiet neighborhood but just off the turnpike, the rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. Tons of extra blankets and pillow in the closets, everything you need in the kitchen and the yard is beautiful. The kids had a great time on the zipline and the husband and I just relaxed on the hammock and let the kids entertain us! Forget about hotels, this is the place to stay in the Tulsa area. Be sure and check out the Broken Arrow zoo, Safari Sanctuary, too. It is great and not far from the house.

We enjoyed our stay in the Bungalow more than words can express! We have two small children and week long hotel stays can get pretty trying. But staying in the Bungalow was the closest thing to being home. It was very kid and friendly. The beds were comfortable, and we felt at home immediately. Our boys also loved the tire swings and playground. Thank you Larry & Joan, we enjoyed our stay immensely.

With Larry and Joan we felt like more than vacation home renters. They were very friendly and accommodating. The house was great; very homey and cozy. We especially enjoyed the fireplace! We'll stay there next time we are visiting Tulsa.
