Great Vancouver Experience

Great apartment on the edge of business/trendy section of downtown Vancouver – close to everything…BC Place, shopping, restaurants, SkyTrain. Everything within 5-15 min walk or 5 min to the water taxi to Granville Island. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. In spite of being right next to Pacific Blvd – a fairly busy thoroughfare – very quiet residence…not a sound from the street or neighbor. Found the landlord very accommodating and helpful getting us (3 guys for the weekend) oriented to the location and surrounding area on arrival, and left us with detailed contact information should anything require his attention during our stay. The apartment was very clean, the amenities more than adequate – for us and I would say for any group (comfortably - maybe up to 6 – four easily, six…maybe) staying for brief or extended periods. We didn’t have a car for the weekend, but the underground parking appeared very clean, well lit and certainly would have been appreciated had we been there longer and needed the space. Wireless internet access was easy and fast, and the large wall-mounted LCD TV was great. All in all, a great find for us and highly recommended for anyone looking for a great location and great experience in downtown Van.

We stayed for 17 nights (2 adults and 1 child under 2 yo) and thought the well sized apartment was excellent. The location is Yaletown is perfect for many great restaurants. Getting about from Yaletown is also very easy with a short walk to buses, the underground trains and Aqua Bus/False Creek Ferries. Art provided good customer service and was accomodating about the key pick up request we had. The process of booking and paying was very efficient. The flat is a very good size and was clean. One minor point was that with a longer stay like ours it would have been good to have a cleaner to come in once or if not some more cleaning products to do the job ourselves. This was our third trip to Vancouver and the first staying here and in this area. We would definitiely come again and recommend this to anyone.
Owner response:I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Extra cleanings are available on request, but the guest would have to pay for them. I will ensure there are more cleaning products in the Suite if the guests want to do some cleaning whilst they are there.

Our family of four visited Vancouver for 7 days and stayed here. The unit is a terrific home base for the city. It was clean, in a wonderful neighborhood and convenient for navigating the city. Art was easy to work with, very accommodating to our needs and very professional. We certainly will return to this unit on our next visit to Vancouver.

We were very comfortable in this apartment for our 4 night stay in Vancouver. We had 3 adults and 2 young children (3 yrs and 1 yr). The 1 yr old slept in a cot in our room and there was still plenty of room to move around. The apartment was roomy and very comfortalbe. It was also in a great location - close to the subway and not far to walk to Robson St or the harbourtown. Yaletown was a great neighbourhood - plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Happily recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a roomy apartment in a handy location that doesn't cost the earth.

We had the most outstanding stay here. We were two adults and three small children (7 and under) - the smallest was on a blow up mattress in our room (which worked really well). The unit was the perfect size and very comfortable. Lots of glass to view the world and plenty of home comforts to come down at the end of our "Canada Trip". The kitchen was smaller than expected, but you don't need 'gourmet' on holiday. It was missing a bottle opener - but mothers can be very inventive. The location was perfect too - close to Granville Island, the Aquabus jetty and some amazing restaurants. It was very easy to get around and get whatever we needed. The pool and spa were a great place to hang out when it was too cold and wet to explore greater Vancouver, or if we were just feeling lazy. Art was the perfect host and very helpful, providing extra chairs and a guided tour. The free wi-fi was a blessing too. We would stay here again in a heart-beat!

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It makes a huge difference compared to a hotel. It’s great to have your “own” place in a city. The apartment is really nice, well located (close to a sky train station and a supermarket) and has a very good view. The apartment was clean and comfortable. You find all you need in the right place. I would have wanted to stay longer. I enjoyed the long pool (where you can really swim) and the Jacuzzi; there is also a good gym. As I hired a car from Herz (300 meters from the apartment) I used the parking space which was also very convenient. We cooked in a very nice kitchen, washed and dried our clothes, had a great time with my wife and 2 children. Art and Isabella were very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend it to my friends.

We would like to recommend this well-layed out apartment for value and location. 5 minute walk to a variety of restaurants including Japanese and great seafood at Rodney's. Wonderful indoor market nr corner of Davie and Pacific, a five minute walk, with fresh pastas, sauces, meats, fruit and vegetables. If you like chinese food we can highly recommend Floata in Chinatown. Then of course day trips must include False Creek ferries across to Granville Island; explore Stanley Park, the aquarium, a day trip over to Vancouver Island on the car/bus/passenger ferry to visit the Butchart Gardens and then in to Victoria for a wander around the markets, listening to the buskers, a visit to Munro's Books in Government Street and a cool guinness in the Irish Pub. If you are hiring a car Hertz is just a 5 minute walk from the aparment. Have a great time.

We have stayed in a few condos in Yaletown. This was our favorite. There were five of us, three teenagers and two adults staying a week. The space and floorplan worked out well for us. This was a larger group than we usually travel with, but I would stay again. I appreciated the spaciousness and the view, which are both rare in Yaletown. The location couldn't have been better.. The restaurants and shops are literally around the corner, yet the condo is quietly upscale and serene. The area is hip, tasteful and interesting, and at the same time safe. We walked to the Art museum downtown. Rode bikes along the seawall through Stanley Park , took the water taxi to Granville island, walked to Gastown, stopping at wonderful used book stores along the way.We even walked to Davie Village and the West End Urban Fare is two blocks away and we like to pick up dinner or eat there, a great option. Everything we needed to cook meals was there and we also enjoyed that. . The condo was clean and well managed. The beds were comfortable and seemed new. We stretched out and lived there comfortably, the condo felt like home. We hated to leave and hope to come back again soon. Thanks so much Art, we enoyed our stay. Chris and Denise
