I figure if you've gotten this far, you probably already know about the SanDestin Resort. (If not, just search it on the internet.) Augusta village is on the Golf Course, on the bayside of the resort. It is 1 mile from the beach and just under 1 mile from each of the swimming pools. It is one of the oldest sections of the resort (don't worry, we've removed the shag carpet and avocado green appliances.)
This is a one story free standing home with a Garage and screened in back porch. There are 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a King bed and the other has twin beds. The den sofa has a pull-out queen bed. There are 3 TVs. New carpet installed in April of 2009 in the bedrooms.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS are agreed to by the guest's payment of the rental amount.
(1) No Sandestin Amenity Card is included with this rental.
(2) Cancellation Policy--In case of mandatory evacuation, pro rata refund of unused dates.
(3) Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. central
(4) Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. central
(5) No Pets allowed.
(6) No smoking inside
(7) To rent you must be 25 years of age or older.
(8) No subletting. The person renting must stay there.
(9) Violation of (7) or (8) will result in immediate eviction with no refund of unused rent.
(10) You and your guests will strictly abide by all Federal, State, Local and Sandestin laws, rules and regulations.
(11) You shall indemnify and hold Owner harmless from action(s) of
yourself or others present along with you.
(12) Violation of the no pet / no smoking rules forfeits the security deposit
(13) Security deposit will be refunded after inspection by housekeeping

We lived in this well-maintained and updated house for 7 months in 2010-2011 and found it to be very beachy. Unlike a lot of rentals that are done in boring neutrals, this beach house is done up in a fun beach style that kids and adults will enjoy. A lot of detail and planning has gone on in this house to make sure you have everything (everything!) you will need for a fun and stress-free stay at Sandestin! Beach towels are provided so you don't have to worry about bringing your own. The kitchen is updated and very nice!! Unlike a lot of other rentals we looked at, which were not updated since the 1970's, this house has the latest appliances--top-notch oven, new fridge, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, plenty of glassware and plasticware--everything you need to cook a real meal. We are neat freaks and we cooked nearly three times a day in this house and loved it. There is tons of room in this house and a big and bright table that you can invite friends or family over to join you at. There are deluxe curtains and bedding throughout the house so you can sleep in since the curtains are thick and keep out all of the sun--not thin like the curtains at a lot of rentals. The beds are comfortable and not thin as a pancake like the beds at many other rentals. The internet is a high-speed connection and will be plenty fast enough for you to do whatever you want to do--I know because I work online full-time and used this connection with no issues whatsoever. When you grocery shop you can back the car in and unload directly into the kitchen--now that's convenience. This is the quietest neighborhood at Sandestin. You will have a LOT of privacy because this house is not attached--it backs up to a golf course. The back porch is screened in and a great place to catch the fireworks on occasion. This house is easy biking distance to 2 pools, locations to feed the ducks, the beach, Baytowne Wharf, Publix grocery store (and shops and restaurants at Grand Boulevard), or Silver Sands Outlet to eat or shop. A biking/walking trail is right behind the house so it's easy to get into the action. The fun colors in this house are subtle but energizing enough to keep you pumped up and let you know that you are AT THE BEACH! We loved living in Sandestin so that we have moved into a small yearly leased condo near Baytowne Wharf--we miss the luxury of the roominess and privacy we had!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.
