Welcome to 3 Canalside, a wonderful canalfront townhome with dramatic views into the bay and just two short blocks to the ocean. Located in Sunset Island, a neo-traditionally designed community that features the best amenities at the shore, you and your family can enjoy all the peace and tranquility that a private, gated community can provide while having all the shopping, and restaurants, and nightlife that you could desire waiting right outside the gates.
The house features 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths and is decorated in a coastal contemporary theme. There is a two car rear entry garage, and 4 porches, one located off of each level.
-The entry level features a bedroom with a fold out queen and a full bath.
- The second level features the living room, dining room, kitchen, and sun room and a half bath.
- the third level features the master bedroom with a queen bed and a private bath, bedroom two with a full sleigh bed, and bedroom three with a twin over full bunk bed, and a full bath in the hallway.

The island features 3 bay front beaches. The bay is only a foot or so deep and is usually 15 degrees warmer than the ocean with no waves. It provides a nice respite for the busy parent as it's a much safer environment than the ocean. There is also indoor and outdoor pools, and terrific interactive fountain for the kids, boat slips, crabbing pier, and a fitness center. There is even a Corner Store for your daily needs (and Ice Cream and Wine) and an on site restaurant and bar (located right on the bay with incredible views). There are even wine tastings, live music at at the pool, and "Movies on the Mews" in the summer.

Welcome!!! We are the Sher's from South Riding, VA and we hope you will join us at Sunset Island. I have been coming to Ocean City for 30 years and I am particularly thrilled to be able have Joey and Johhny's grow up around the sand and salt water!! We have enjoyed some of our best memories here in Ocean City and we hope you will to!!
Why the Owner Chose Sunset Island
We looked up and down the mid-atlantic coast and settled on Sunset Island because is was immpecably maintained, had a wonderful, old seacoast feel to the design, encouraged being outdoors and enjoying the water, and was a safe and secure place to bring the family. We can come to Sunset Island and relax and step outside the gates to enjoy all that Ocean City has to offer any time we'd like.

My family & I just came back from spending a week at this home & are already talking about booking it again for next year. I would recommend this house to anyone planning a family vacation. The house is beautiful & has plenty of room for big families.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.
