Beautiful updated cabin, new kitchen with beautiful stainless steel appliances, new bathroom with full size tub, master bedroom with queen size bed, additional room with sofa bed, loft best for children only - limited height clearance. Wireless Internet is available. Flat screen HDTV and DVD player and CD/IPOD stereo system provided. Backyard is fully fenced. Bring own towels, queen sized sheets and pillowcases. Housekeeping is available but some basic cleaning is still needed prior to leaving.

We (a middle aged couple) rented this cabin in the summer of 2009; the pictures do not show how truly small the rooms are. It was nearly impossible to walk around the bed to make it. We couldn't even peek at the sleeping loft, the ladder was too close to the wall and the entrance very tight (we are both slim). We chose this cabin because it is not listed as "pet friendly;" however, there was dog hair dust bunnies and chew bones under the bed and in the den which aggrevated our allergies. We are not sure that the sofa bed could actually be opened (although we did not try) as the room is so small. The location is great and the price is right, unfortunately, it is also on a busy residential corner (frequent headlights shining in and cars going by). The bathroom was nice. We would not jump at an opportunity to stay here again, we would definately prefer something with some elbow room. Not a place for two couples, ok for one couple. Just our "two cents." Enjoy your Tahoe vacation!
Owner response:The cabin is much better suited to one couple or a small family. We also would discourage 4 adults from staying here. The loft area was created for children; its great for kids, not adults. The cabin is approx 500 sq ft, excluding the loft; so its cozy - but a big upgrade over a local hotel room at a favorable rate. The location is great, which allows for walking to many local destinations. The cabin location is typically quiet, but South Lake Tahoe can get quite busy in mid-summer, particularly the closer you get to attractions. As owners, we will bring our pet on occasion, but do not advertise as pet friendly out of concern for damage. We strive to keep the cabin as nice as possible for ourselves and our guests. We have an excellent cleaning service between visits with usually great comments about the cleanliness so I'm disappointed to hear about dust bunnies.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway.
