I visited Paris for vacation a second time in 2 years, and chose once again to rent Catherine's apartment. I appreciate the location, the amenities, and the comfort of it feeling like a home away from home. Unfortunatey I was not able to say hello to Catherine in person this time (hi!), she arranged for her niece to be on-site. My expectations were met again: the unit is clean and comfortable. Catherine provided an updated map with recommendations for markets, restaurants, etc. Thank you once again for making my visit wonderful. I will surely be back again soon.

My sister and I had the pleasure of staying at Catherine's charming apartment the last week of September. It was even nicer than the pictures indicated; bright, homey, very comfortable...really felt like home. Catherine is a kick and couldn't have treated us more hospitably. I highly recommend your staying here.

We were absolutely thrilled with this accommodation. So much better than a hotel. Our hostess made us feel so very welcome.....she is the epitome of hospitality. She was graciously available to help with recommendations and directions and at the same time respectful of her guests privacy. The flat is very well equipped with everything needed for a French breakfast....and then some! I dare you to find one molecule of dust!.....spotless. The stairs may be a challenge for some but for us, so worth it! We will recommend this apartment to friends for sure.

Stayed for a week at the end of August with husband. Smallish but cute Parisian apartment. Feels homey which is nice compared to a hotel. Kitchenette is small but very useful for simple breakfast and snacks. Bathroom is newish and clean. Location is convenient, very near metro, easy walk to Seine river, and close to St.Germain des Pres where there are many restaurants that are open late. Immediate neighbourhood is nothing special but safe. Owner Catherine lives upstairs is very nice and helpful, she let us use her washer for laundry and even folded our clothes! Strongly recommend for couple/2 people, would be a little too small for more than that.

My teenage niece and I had a wonderful time in Paris due to the excellent location of this great apartment, the amenities (we appreciated the wi-fi, a stocked refrigerator, comfortable beds, wonderful bathroom and shower) and the wonderful information and help from Catherine. It was nice to have excellent boulangeries, restaurants, markets and famous sites (Notre Dame, the left bank, etc.) so close that walking was the way to go. The metro Jussieu was a one minute walk from the apartment with easy access to the rest of the city. Catherine provided us with a map of the city as well as a detailed map to the area within walking distance of the apartment with markets, cheese shops, sites, all highligted. I would highly recommend this aparment for the location, the ambience, the cleanliness and above all Catherine who really gave us enough information that we felt we could walk, take the metro and yes even the bus with ease. We felt we had a friend in the city as soon as we met her. Even the three flight of stairs gave an added benefit - my calves were definitely toned at the end of our stay! We would stay here again anytime!

It was our first trip to Paris and Catherine's warm hospitality and charming flat made it delightful. It is in a terrific location for exploring Paris by foot or the Metro is nearby if you tire of walking. Catherine was very helpful with directions, maps, restaurant recommendations and shopping tips. The food, the arts, the sites were all wonderful! We can't wait to go back for a longer stay and visit with Catherine again.

We are an active senior couple from Australia who were fortunate indeed to have found this beautiful apartment through VRBO. We stayed for one week in early June. It really lived up to the photographs, description and reviews and was a lovely apartment for two people: spotlesslessly clean; very quiet and secure; lovely comfy bed; well appointed and in easy walking distance to the Seine and Notre Dame and many delightful restaurants and gardens. For other destinations the Metro was just a few minutes walk away. However the real delight was Catherine, the owner, who lives in the apartment above and who made us feel welcome and at home. She was extremely helpful in every way - even helping us plan for our daily excursions which all helped us to have a wonderful week in Paris. Would certainly stay here again - if we are lucky enough to return to Paris.

My husband Len and I are from New York and this was our fifth visit to Paris; our second renting of an apartment through VRBO. We chose this apartment because we know and enjoy the lifestyle of the Latin Quarter. Catherine has created a home away from home for travellers. The apartment offers lots of natural light and is furnished so that your eye always falls on something of interest. There was a soft, gentle breeze in the evenings. The apartment is quiet; located very close to two outdoor markets, the Mosque which is a must see has a lovely open restaurant to have lunch and it is easy walking to the Seine. Ten minutes to Notre Dame.

Dear Catherine, we can’t thank you enough for your hospitality, warmness and help. Our first visit to Paris was great. We felt like at home in your cozy flat were we found everything we needed for our staying – very clean, in great location close to all main historical places. You provided very useful information about surrounded restaurants, stores, transportation, etc. Metro is around the coner, a lot of nice restaurants around. Very safe area. We couldn’t go wrong with our choice to rent your flat. Your generosity made our stay in Paris unforgettable. Thank you for everything!
