We rented this house after seeing it on a bridal blog. My family and I used it as a home base the week my husband and I were married last fall. Because our wedding and reception were also in the Borough, it was the perfect location. The house has a clean, lived in feel with almost every amenity you could want. The decor is tasteful and warm. The house has been updated but has kept its charm. The views from the upper deck are amazing. the house was in great condition with nice linens, towels, and even great dining room linens. Anna Belle was such a gracious host. She offered her assistance if we needed anything, and she is so genuine that I wouldn't have hesitated to call her. Even though it was Fall, she went to the trouble of replacing the flowers in the window box at the front of the house, which made us feel special. She also left a lovely gift basket. The house is wonderful, the host is wonderful, and Stonington is wonderful, which I hesitate to mention for fear that more and more people will discover it. It has been a special place for my husband and I for years, and now is even more special given our wedding. Many thanks to Anna Belle for the special touches, large and small, that she provided to make us feel special, relaxed, and at home.

A perfect location, with all the facilities we needed for our family of four adults and a 4 and a 2 year old. We especially appreciated having air conditioning as the weather was warm and humid. IN addition we enjoyed all the activites available to us for entertaining the little ones: the Carousel at Watch Hill, the Aquarium and Seaport Village at Mystic, and especially the child friendly beach at Stonington and the playground around the corner from our Town House. We also made good use of the toys provided at the house. Must also mention the excellelnt laundry and kitchen facilities. We were totally happy with this wonderful 10 day stay at this Town House in Stonington.

We recently spent a week with my 2 sons, daughter-in-law, and 14 month old granddaughter at this wonderful house. It was so comfortable and had everything we needed. Beautiful views from the top deck and since it was in the borough it was fun to walk to restaurants and cute shops. I highly recommend this property!

The property is perfectly suited for a pleasant vacation in Stonington, CT. It is within walking distance of several outstanding restaurants and a block away from the farmers'market. The third floor porch has oustanding views of Long Island Sound. My family had a great vacation here.

For over 25 years our family has been renting vacation homes in New England. This home is now our #1 favorite! We were very impressed by this home's location (amazing harbor view) and the owner's attention to details (luxury bedding, wonderful towels, lovely furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, etc.). The owner is personable and helpful. Be sure to catch the Saturday Farmer's Market, 24-hour fish market (honor system), local shops, delightful beach, & Skipper's Dock. We highly recommend you stay in this home when you visit Stonington, CT.

I asked my oldest sister to fly from San Francisco to CT for a birthday/sister reunion! So I needed to find a property for us that was clean, interesting, well stocked, bright and sunny with great views .... in early March! This property totally delivered! My youngest sister found the town by googling "quaint New England town" and Anna Bell was a pleasure to work with from there on out. The property is a lovely mix of original structure with great amenities. We ate several meals there and enjoyed using the kitchen with its new appliances. The dining, sitting area, tv area and upper deck were all very comfortable and spacious. The bedrooms were all nicely appointed and spacious with super comfortable linens and pillows! We had the birthday dinner at Dog Watch. Great food, very fun staff, and a good band! Next night we went to Foxwoods: close and so much to do. My one sister came by train into Mystic and it was a pleasure to pick her up. Everything is within walking distance or a quick drive. The property is set up so well it is a very relaxing place to stay; quiet, comfortable, beautiful view. The house and town was a great place for us to enjoy each others company, celebrate my San Fran Sister's Birthday and make some great family memories!

Just perfect in every way shape and form. The location could not be better. It is peace and tranquility The House is spotless with all the comforts of Home. A short distance to Mystic which is lovely too,But you are somehow glad you choose Annabell's Home in Stonington. We also made a trip to Newport .So the location is great as far as visiting other area's .You can see other places without spending too much time in a car. It is just great. Family from ireland were visiting a young couple with a 15mo. baby they can't wait to visit again for a longer stay. As I said to Annabell there was only one thing wrong with our visit WE HAD TO LEAVE------------------We were a little sad but we will be back. I must also add Annabell is absolutely charming,I had many a chat with her before arriving ,She is warm, outgoing, down to earth one of those people you come across that you are just comfortable with. Her herlp is available to you if needed. So thanks Annabell for our stay at your lovely home.

This place is a true gem! We recently stayed at the house for a quick weekend getaway. It was perfect! Everything we needed and more was available in the house. Great location with wonderful boutique shops and restaurants nearby, a wonderful local farmers market right out back, close to several wonderful Stonington vineyards and more! I would highly recommend this place with out a doubt! We will be back for sure!

The listing doesn't give this property all is deserves! We came in town for a wine fest in North Stonington and found the house a perfect fit for 8 adults and three babies under 1 year old. Anna Bell was easy to work with and so organized. She made the trip very easy to plan. The house is completely stocked from the pots and pans to the array of spices, oils and other goodies. There are also board games, DVD's and plenty of baby things if needed. You feel right at home when you arrive. There is plenty of space to spread out or to socialize. The area is perfect. Quick drive to wine trails or Mystic. The local farmer's market sets up on Saturday mornings down by the marina and was so fun to walk to. We also took advantage of the local honor system seafood freezer. What a delight! We couldn't say more about the place and we will be sure to make a return visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay in this beautifully restored home overlooking Stonington Harbor. A fusion of the old and the new. Wood plank floors, renovated baths, hotel quality linens, upscale beds and bedding in spacious rooms. Very clean. High-end appliances in the kitchen. Cable, HDTV and Internet access. Lots of light with panoramic views of the harbor from 2 spacious decks. Magnificent sunsets. Fine casual dining at the Water Street Cafe, and Milagros, 1 Block away.

My extended family stayed here for a week in September. Anna, the owner, maintains a beautiful and spotless home. We had every possible amenity and the kitchen was stocked with condiments and spices. There are toys, board games and videos for all ages, adults and children. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the home is virtually baby/child-proofed - latches on the cabinets and gates to prevent little ones from going down the stairs. The bedrooms were very spacious and the master bedroom is romantic with its own veranda. We enjoyed grilling on the deck off the living room ... so relaxing to watch the ships roll in while the sun sets! Great fishing - my husband caught a massive striper off a nearby dock. Restaurants, cafes, the beach and cute little shops are all within a 10-minute stroll. The supermarkets is a 5-minute drive. And we spend one day in Mystic, which is only a ten-minute drive. Anna is very friendly, professional and very easy to work with ... in all, we had a fabulous time, highly recommend this home and can't wait to return!

    1. Views from the deck! 2. Spaciousness-was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. 3. The decor was tasteful and the amenities made it feel like a home, not a rental. 4. Ablility to walk into the Borough for coffee, restaurants, shops 5. Taking the self-guided walking tour of the Borough 6. The kitchen/living room/dining open floor plan allowed our family to stay all together in the same room while doing different activities. 7. Loved the master suite and deck and the fun, tasteful curtains 8. The beds and linens were gloriously comfortable! 9. Yummies left in the cupboard and refrigerator. 10. All the details-fresh flowers, beautiful garden 11. Going to the Farmers Market which is right there on the green behind the house. 12. We loved meeting the local fisherman and getting FRESH seafood (lobsters, scallops) from Billy, Joe and Ted 13. We felt very safe here. The owner, Annabelle, was a terrfic hostess and we became fast friends. We would definitely stay here again and will also recommend it to our friends, too! Staying in this quaint house and village was a wonderful New England experience for our entire family.

Lovely. From the beautifully appointed windows boxes that greet you, to the garden with it's historic iron gate, then through the house and the many rooms, each with its own character and view. There is plenty of space for a group, and the services to support you, as well. There is everything you need in the kitchen (we novices successfully cooked lobster!). The bathrooms and beds are very nice. It all feels like you are staying at your friend's house, not a rental property. Enjoy.

Lovely, spacious, borough home located in a quaint NE town. Owner provided lovely accommodations . . . and went out of her way to make sure our stay met our expectations. Bedrooms are spacious; living area is furnished to provide great family time. Dined at Noah's and Skipper's Dock, but the kitchen was also adequately outfitted to allow us to prepare several meals ourselves. Decks and patios on all floors allowed for plenty of space for everyone to relax. We had a great week. My only caution is 3 stories means 2 flights of stairs. We had healthy grandparents with us and we were fine . . .but it could be more difficult for others.

We love this house and consider it our home away from home. The living space, a great room with lots of comfortable seating, a large table for festive meals and a wonderful kitchen, is the entire third floor where the views over Stonington's harbor are mesmerizing day or night. The bedrooms on the 1st and second floor each have their own special feel, but all have great mattresses (the owner prides herself on her mattresses) and good bedding. The house is clean and in great condition, considering that it is 200 years old! If good design matters to you, you will love this house - the paint colors and fabrics reveal an artists eye. At the same time, it's completely comfortable and family friendly. We love this house and plan to return as soon as possible.

What a wonderful time we had in Stonington Our home away from home was the top two floors of a beautifully restored gracious town home. A beautiful staircase with sparkling planked floors leads you up to the two bedrooms and the next staircase to the living area. The bedrooms were large and each had a fully equipped bathroom. They each had windows that opened -allowing in lots of wonderfully scented summer sea air. The master even had it's own deck. The top floor had a huge deck with great deck furniture and a view over the Stonington harbour and park. The kitchen was modern and very well equipped. The living room had comfy seats and lots of books and games for our enjoyment. The dining area had a wonderful formal colonial feel - perfect for sitting down to a meal at the end of the day. And what days we had - strolling the quaint village, enjoying the park, having fun at the beach and attending a local fair. The village has several great restaurants, and we particularly enjoyed the "Skipper's Dock" where we spent an entire afternoon enjoying their fine food , drinks, ambience and good company. We are looking forward to a return one day.

This is truly a special spot! Feels more like a b&b than just a house to rent. First, it's very clean, fully stocked, fresh flowers, beautiful linens, extremely comfortable beds, etc. The views are the best and it's just charming in every respect. The owners even supply beach towels, beach chairs and a little red wagon to haul your beach gear. We won't ever stay anywhere else! The owners were great to deal with to - very nice and accomodating. You won't be disappointed!
