With its long sandy beaches, maritime forest, and salt marshes, you are in for a vacation experience like no other. Our family vacation home is located in the desirable and convenient marina village. We have tried to make it a comfortable retreat for one of us, or for the entire clan (no more than ten people, please). The home has three levels with two master suites. We enjoy watching the wildlife from the large front and back decks, mornings on a challenging golf course, and afternoons on one of Bald Head's beautiful beaches. Making it all the more relaxing, once you get off the ferry, you are on "turtle time." Your island transportation is via golf cart or bike. We have furnished the home with lots of creature comforts: a great stereo, DVD player and DVDs, VCR, three televisions, beach chairs and towels, games, good beds (two kings, one queen, one double, and one trundle), and martini shaker and glasses. This is our special family place that we invite you to share. Our home is available for rent for month-long rentals only. The rental fee is $5000 for a single month, or $4500 per month for 2 months or more. This is a deal considering many homes on the island cost that much for a week. This is a great opportunity for a someone in the Raleigh/Durham or Wilmington area to have that summer house to spend weekends at the beach. We recently renovated the interior of the home with new carpet, paint and refinished wood floors. The great-room style living area and back deck provide a perfect spot for family gatherings. Monthly summer rate is $6000/month for a single month
or $4500/month for off season.
If tenant choses not to clean upon departure, cleaning
will be billed on an hourly basis at $25/hour.
A security deposit of $2000 is required
and is fully refundable, less any damages to the property
or its contents, or excessive cleaning required.
Rental rate includes 4-person golf cart.
