Thank You for letting us share your slice of paradise! We stayed on west side for 1st week & although it was very enjoyable staying on this side makes you enjoy quiet & solitude. On Sunday we sat on very quiet beach & relaxed , read a book, suntanned & did I mention "relax". Condo was very clean, open & spacious, complete kitchen, & screened lanai which was great although we did not notice any bugs. Great snorkling at Barefoot Beach. Read the guide book to find. We walked down to Rumpoint daily just to enjoy the views,food, people, homes(million dollar x??) We ate the last nite at Rumpoint & even though it was a little pricey(after 2 weeks you almost get used to it!) it was the best meal we had on the island!! A great way to start the New Year! Red Sail sports is located at Rumpoint & the couple with us did a 2nd Sting ray city tour & felt they received much more attention & help from them than on the busier west side. All in all a great place to stay, you just need to be aware it is quieter on this side & it takes 1 to 11/4 hours to get to 7 Mile Beach on West side if you cant handle it.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This condo is extremely well kept and provided everything that is needed to get the most out of your stay. The kitchen is well equipped which we took advantage of and the location is great if you want to get away from the busy part of the island. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great spot on this side of the island. The owners were very responsive and helpful with any and all questions. Rum Point is just around the corner as well as several other beaches which we typically had all to ourselves. A nice relaxing vacation....

The condo was fantastic. Location, Cleanliness, Facilities all were top class. As it was recommended to us so we would recommend to anyone who goes to Cayman and who wants to be away from the overcrowded hussle of 7 mile beach. This part of the island is so beautiful and quiet and so close to great parts of the island not seen by others.

Yes,Yes and Yes to all or any questions anyone might have about this condo. The pictures were right on, the condo was very clean and neat just as advertised. The screened in lanai was used alot to just relax and unwind. The ten page email that the owner sent to us was very helpful..from using Marshall's Car Rental to using the correct grocery store, and places to dine. For our 40th Wedding Night we dinned at the Lighthouse, and it was great.Rum Point is where we spent most of our days relaxing and napping in the hammocks. I suggest to newbys coming to the island to buy groceries because the resturants are expensive, beer is approx $50/case...Our best friends( brother-in-law and wife's sister) came with us to help celebrate it was very special week. We are looking forward in returning and staying right here.

Great "Staycation" In March 2011

We were looking for a reasonably priced condo for a two week stay in high season as my parents were flying in from the UK to meet their grandson for the first time. Price wise this was well below many units in the same development as well as those in the older Kaibo Phase I units. As we live on island we are very familiar with North Side and what it offers to visitors. On our check in day we arrived too early but Miss Barbara kindly allowed us to unload our luggage and came by as soon as we called to get the condo ready for us even though it was entirely our own fault for arriving hours ahead of the stated check in time! The property is extremely well kept and stocked with everything you will need by way of kitchen and laundry etc. and it's spacious but cozy too. The Lanai is a lovely place to sit in the daytime and evenings looking out across North Sound. The beach is quiet and safe for kids although this area is not great for swimming there are plenty of wonderful swimming and snorkeling spots in this part of the island including the beautiful Rum Point about three minutes away by car, so it's not really a problem. You also have a nice private pool right on the beach as well. With Kaibo Yacht Club right next door you have a relaxed bar environment which serves decent food too, although the upstairs restaurant is expensive and, although service is very good, the food when we went was disappointing I'm afraid and left us wishing we'd eaten downstairs and saved some money. If you have a car there are plenty of good restaurants to choose from if you don't mind a drive out. Ask Miss Barbara for recommendations if you're not familiar with the island. Shopping is limited in North Side with Chisholms grocery being the closest store - about a 10-15 minute road trip away. Biggest grocery store is Fosters in the Countryside development at Savannah, but they also have a smaller store in East End opposite the Reef Resort which has most things. As a base we were more than happy with our choice - the new owners were very helpful and Miss Barbara their local representative did an excellent job and was always on hand. We were extremely happy with our choice and our visitors said they hadn't slept so well in a long time and thoroughly enjoyed their time in the condo and in Cayman. Price wise, certainly in island terms, it's a great value rental and highly recommended, indeed we have recommended it to our next family visitors in November already!

Loved Cayman Kai

After searching for a place to stay on Grand Cayman, I stumbled onto this one and my husband and I loved it! This was our first trip to Grand Cayman and felt very lucky to find a place so great. The condo was perfect, from the location, amenities, it went beyond our expectations (there were even a few grocery and other items left from previous guests). The property is very clean and maintained well. The pool area was very quiet and everyone we met from the other condos were very nice. I would recommend this condo for anyone looking to be away from all the tourists of the 7 mile beach area. We went to Rum Point (about a 3 minute drive) to catch a catamaran excursion to Sting Ray City one afternoon and a sunset sail excursion one evening, both through Red Sail Sports. We had a wonderful time in Grand Cayman and hope to return!
