Situated on a DOUBLE FAIRWAY with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, this 3 bedroom / 3.5 bath home is all you could hope for in a luxury vacation rental! Large, open living spaces, abundant sunlight, tranquil paint colors and beautiful furnishings make this home the ideal place for a fun-filled, relaxing vacation in the Palm Desert area. Indian Ridge is the Premier Country Club in the area, with gorgeous surroundings and views, beautifully landscaped residences, and a quiet atmosphere.

* FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN: The kitchen is stocked with every imaginable amenity and can be used to serve up beautiful entertaining meals. Built-in gas cook top, built-in refrigerator with ice maker and water service through the door, microwave, convection bake oven, dishwasher, granite counter tops and more make this an ideal cooks paradise ... or, you can eat out in the many fabulous restaurants in the area!
* DINING ROOM: The large dining room contains a fantastic, square glass dining table that seats eight for intimate meals.
* GREAT ROOM: The spacious great room has a large, comfortable sectional sofa with (2) reclining units as well as two cozy chairs with ottomans. The entertainment is provided by a High Definition LCD TV (cable included), DVD/VCR combo unit, surround sound, wet bar and a bar refrigerator. A gas-log fireplace completes the warm, comfortable ambiance.
* OUTDOOR PATIO: The outdoor patio is accessed from the great room and kitchen. It has a large concrete surface, private jacuzzi and swimming pool, complete patio furniture and gas BBQ.
* POWDER ROOM: Nice, fully equipped and decorated, your guest will sense the quality of this luxury home!
* BEDROOM 1 / DEN: This bedroom is equipped with a queen sized bed, desk and wall unit system, and has a private bath attached. The bath has a separate vanity area with 2 sinks, large walk-in shower with bench, and a separate toilet area. The closet space is an armoire. A computer with printer may be available, please inquire. Wireless high speed internet is available at no charge.
* BEDROOM 2 / GUEST ROOM: This bedroom is equipped with a king sized bed, 2 nightstands, chest of drawers, TV, and has a very large private bath attached. The bath has a separate vanity area with 2 sinks, large walk-in shower with bench, and a separate toilet area. The closet space is large with dual bypass doors.
* MASTER BEDROOM: The master bedroom is equipped with a SLEEP NUMBER queen sized bed, armoire/TV cabinet, 37' flat screen LCD TV w/ DVD, night stands, and a down-filled chaise. The master bath is very large, with 2 sinks, tub, granite shower, granite counter tops, large vanity area, private toilet area, and large walk in closet.
*LAUNDRY ROOM: The laundry area is a separate space with washer, dryer, laundry sink and built in ironing system.
* GARAGE: The two car garage is attached. It may have one car stored in it, so please inquire. Ample driveway and on street parking exists as well.

My husband and I and two other couples rented this home for 10 days in Nov. This is by far the best home we have stayed in over the last 7 years. It was very clean, had a great kitchen fully equipped with everything you could possibly want. The description on VRBO is accurate, there were no surprises. The location is perfect, lots of sun until around 3PM, but there is a community pool within a few steps if you want more sun time. There is a small pool and a really nice hot tub to enjoy, the owners are very helpful in answering any questions regarding the both. We would definitely recommend renting this property! Try Tiramisu, La Spiga and Desert Sage if you love great food and service! Have fun!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

The home is beautifully furnished, yet comfortable. Many homes in this area are all tile and marble and the owners' judicious use of carpet makes it homey and quiet. Beds and bedrooms are all comfortable; TVs and stereo system are superior. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could want, down to things like a pastry blender and waffle iron. The owners anticipated all the typical questions, and were very accessible and responsive when a question arose during our stay. The surroundings are beautifully landscaped; community pools and hot tubs are great, but the hot tub and pool off the patio are extra special. The location of the home within Indian Ridge provides lovely vistas, and the location of Indian Ridge is perfect, too. We have already asked to rent it for six weeks in 2011.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities.

Our family has gotten away to Palm Desert many times, however this experience in the Indian Ridge house was amazing and far surpased previous accomodations. The home is perfectly situated on a double fairway with fantastic views, has a beautiful pool/spa and is decorated with style and excellence. The house is large with plenty of room for our 3 teenagers! The kitchen is completely equiped for cooking at home.....every detail is included in this house. What a treat! Traveling from Illinois in December our family had the opportunity to spend two weeks in this lovely home. The owner had things laid out for us every step of the way, including a nice welcome when we arrived at the home. This is obviously not a rental, but a residence that anyone fortunate enough to book can thoroughly enjoy. We can't say enough, except that we'll be back!Did you find this review helpful? Our family spent the Thanksgiving holiday in this lovely home and had a wonderful time! The decor, furnishings, and especially the kitchen were just fabulous. The home is large and spacious, and all the bedrooms have private baths with large showers and two sinks. The view of the golf course is breathtaking. The owner goes the extra mile to make sure that every detail is covered and provides clear instructions for the use of all the home's many features. About the owner: Tina and Mark are native San Diegans with a love for the Southern California desert. We have decided to rent our home to carefully selected individuals as our current travel schedule has prevented us from using it on a regular basis.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Indian Ridge:
We chose this particular Country Club due primarily to the reputation of the developer, Sunrise Communities. We chose our particular lot (we were the first purchaser in our phase) due to the orientation of the home (facing east for morning sun and the house blocks the afternoon wind) and the double fairway out the back. The home is very private with great views of the Chocolate Mountains.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Outdoors you will enjoy the large patio, BBQ, pool and spa. The pool may be heated in the winter time for an additional $20 per day, and spa heat is included. Indoors, this is clearly a personal home and not a rental property. All of the cabinets have been recently refinished, and all the paint is new. The home is very comfortable and inviting.
