New Luxury Beachfront Condo at 5-Star Villa Magna
- Minimum stay:3 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:Yes
Villa Magna is the newest beachfront development in Nuevo Vallarta; a master-planned resort development with a wide expanse of beach, 3 championship golf courses, a marina, and many 4 and 5-star hotels. The newly opened Dreams hotel is now part of Villa Magna, offering discounts at many restaurants, bars, spa, and fitness center. This extraordinary destination is just 20 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. The beach is ideal for walking, sunning, boogie-boarding, and is free from rocks, unlike some beaches further south.
At Villa Magna, you will enjoy the ultimate in luxury at your beautiful new home away from home. Huge, multi-level heated pools with crossing bridges curve their way from the base of the building's open first floor with changing rooms all the way to the beach. This 4th floor unit provides the perfect vantage point for afternoon sun overlooking the pools, and spectacular sunsets over the ocean.
Approximately 1,500 square feet of living space includes master bedroom, large second bedroom and 3rd bedroom/maids room with bunk bed, all with full baths and abundant storage. Walk-in closets feature beautifully crafted wooden built-in drawers and shelves. Individual air conditioners and ceiling fans provide the idea temperature for each room. The whirlpool bath in the master suite has doors that open-up to the bedroom and balcony outside.
Designer contemporary furnishings complement the limestone floors, granite kitchen and bar countertops and marble baths. Marble dining room and coffee tables offer carefree indoor dining. Triple floor-to-ceiling sliding doors in the living room and double floor-to-ceiling sliding doors in the master bedroom provide wide open access to the outdoors. Hunter-Douglas floor to ceiling shades roll down to keep the sun out when you want.
The huge balcony extends across the living room and master bedroom. In addition to the fantastic sunsets, the balcony features outdoor dining for 4, a swing-glide rocker for 2, and a large propane grill.
Back inside you'll find a 42" plasma TV with DVD in the living room and 32" plasma TV with DVD in the master, both with cable, HBO, and wireless internet. The fully stocked kitchen features a large fridge and freezer with ice-maker, convection microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster oven, toaster, 4-burner electric range, coffeemaker, and designer silverware, complete with every amenity imaginable for your dining and relaxing pleasure. We’ve even added a high-capacity water filtration system under the sink, although the water in Nuevo Vallarta is carefully controlled and monitored for purity by the state.
Your security is assured with a gated entrance continuously manned by security guards. Only authorized owners and guests are allowed access. This private and quiet sanctuary provides the ideal place to relax, or serve as the ultimate home base from which to venture out to a wide array of possible adventures, including the busy and colorful streets of downtown Puerto Vallarta.
Many excursions depart from Nuevo Vallarta, including the zip line canopy tour, shuttles to the marina for whale and dolphin watching, swimming with the dolphins, and many others. Our on-site manager lives in the resort and is ready to assist you with any planning, reservations, or assistance you may need. Shopping for groceries and other items is available at the “Mega”, just a short drive or taxi ride north, where a huge selection of foods and other items are available.
Everything you might need for your perfect vacation has been provided; just add you and your family or friends.

This is the second time that we staid at Villa Magna complex same apartment and we would like to return very soon. The Apartment is perfect, beautiful, confortable. You will find all that need to have a very great time, the view from the terraza is amazing and relaxing. Just an observation: windows screens are very clear and the sun and hot weather go through the rooms easily. I do recommend blackout windows screen.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Javier, thank you for your review. I appreciate your comments and suggestion.

I spent a week in the condos at Villa Magna, it was very relaxing and I loved the pool. The condo is big and the two bedrooms provide comfort and privacy. The area is quiet and people are very friendly. I had an amazing view of the ocean and the pool from the balcony and loved spending evenings sitting there. One night we were able to watch the show downstairs from our own balcony. The condo shares space with the hotel and you can enjoy the daily activities they provide. Having access to WiFi kept me in touch with internet and emails without having to leave the apartment. My advice is to read the orientation book on the first day to take advantage of everything that is around. going to Puerto Vallarta is just a cab ride and we enjoyed dining there too There is also an option to purchase the all inclusive in the hotel, we just did breakfasts some days as we really enjoyed exploring what is around.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at condo # 335 during four weeks, from March 16th to April 12 th 2012 - The Villa Magna apartment is a five star condo adjacent to a four star Dreams Hotel Resort - The listing description was accurate as well as the photos and amenities - Both the owner and the building manager were very available and helpfull - Excellent environment - well maintained and clean - friendly and very available staff - five pools and plenty of lounge chairs along the pools - also plenty of lounge chairs + palapas on a clean beach - Four hotel restaurants + one roof top sushi bar are available to condo residents and renters for 74U$ per person per 24 hours - When you buy the passes, let's say, at 20:00hrs you will get one breakfast, one lunch and two dinners per person providing that you show up at the restaurants before 20:00hrs the following day; + all you can drink during those 24 hrs -. That is not expensive - The food at those restaurants is average +; just remember that you are in Mexico - Portofino for italian/The Patio for mexican/Seaside Grill and Oceana for grill and fish/seafood - If you're looking for calm and rest, choose your dates for a stay at this resort, outside of Mexican vacations or Holidays such as Semena Santa where Mexicans take over their beaches and resorts with the complete family, otherwise go for it, it'a a great place for families with children and teens - As for us, we had a good time and are satisfied with the overall offer - Claire & GaëtanRecommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Claire & Gaëtan, thank you for including information about the Villa Magna resort, adjacent Dreams hotel, beaches, and the oveall area. This will be very helpful to prospective renters.

My wife and I just stayed for 26 days at this remarkable condo. Everything was as advertised and we enjoyed every minute of our trip. The condo itself was very nice, clean and well equipped with everything one would need for a 26 day stay. The rooms were well kept and the condo was nicely furnished and included an excellent view. We previously stayed at the Hotel Resort connected to these condos in early March of 2011. When we decided to come back in December of 2011 we knew we wanted to try the condos out and it was well worth it. The condo owner was extremely nice and easy to work with and we have no complaints whatsoever (only wish we could have stayed longer). If you have an opportunity to stay at this condo, you will not be disappointed. Do yourself a favor and plan on staying here.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Deana and Ryan, I'm glad you were pleased with the condo and I appreciate your kind words. Thanks for taking the time to write about your experience.

I spent almost 2 weeks at this great beach front condo in November of 2011. The condo was clean and there were no surprises, everything in the listing was accurate. The pools were great and the sunsets from the deck were amazing. I would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks, Miles. Glad you enjoyed it!

My husband and 3 almost teenagers spent a gorgeous week at this condo unit. It is beautifully furnished, very clean, extra's like beach towels, boogie boards, salt, pepper. coffee filters. The kitchen is beautiful, has a water filter system so the water is drinkable as well. The beach is magnificent, all sand, no sandals required. We walked every morning on the beach. ETC, our favorite restaurant on the beach for lunch and the Fajhita Republic for dinners. Golf is nearby, 2 fabulous courses. Lots of cabs available right outside security gate, approx $5.00 anywhere in Nuevo Vallarta, buses also, we didn't venture on those. Three pools, one warm and shallow for young kids and a great cold one right on the beach. Lots of lounge chairs and shade available for those who need it. Weather was gorgeous, sunny every day!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Our stay at Villa Magna was great. The condo unit was very comfortable, with more than enough space for 4 people. The third bedroom was very small (really a utility room) which did not affect us as there were only 3 in my party (2 teens (18 yrs.)1 adult). This is the first time that I stayed in a condo rather than in a hotel room. Even though I spend almost every waking hour on the beach, the extra space was very nice. The condo was impeccably clean and furnished adequately. Nice balcony, but furniture there was minimal. Well appointed with regard to hair dryer, flat iron, iron/ironing board and some pool rafts and boogie boards which we throughly enjoyed. My only complaint was that the master bath shower gave only luke warm water - other showers were OK. We stayed on-resort the entire week, primarily due to the state dept. warnings about the drug wars in Mexico. We purchased day passes from the resort at to cover all food and drinks. At the end of the week we found that going ala carte would have been more economical, but more of a hassle. Using the day passes wasn't entirely seamless - many of the hotel workers seemed to be somewhat unfamiliar with this concept, but by mid-week, everyone seemed to be used to us. The beach was very nice, and the cost of renting wave runners was much less than we paid in Playa last year. Drink service on the beach was hit-or miss. Not enough servers - faster to walk to the bar. The resort was beautiful, but not very teen-friendly. There were no real clubs and very few teens/young adults at the resort. The kids in our group still had a great time (we came with 2 other families, so there were 5 total), but if you have a kid who wants to really party, this isn't the place to be. Restaurant choices were somewhat limited, but the food was generally pretty good. The value was great - we had originally booked for the following week through Apple Vacations to stay in the hotel, but had to cancel for that week. We then scheduled directly with the condo and ended up saving about $1000 per person. About $500 of this was savings in booking our flight - we got lucky and found a great air fare. I've been to PV 5 times and really like it there. If the political climate was more favorable in Mexico, I'd have ventured off the resort for dinner on at least a few nights. There are lots of great restaurants in the city. I'm sure I'll return some day and would seriously consider staying at VM againDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Year Purchased: 2008
About: My wife and I first visited Puerto Vallarta in 2006 (when this picture was taken). We live in Chicago, a few blocks from Wrigley field. Kathy is a nurse and I'm starting a new consulting business and writing a new book. Kathy's son is the world's biggest cub fan, and likes to hang out outside Wrigley in the summer.
Why Villa Magna:
We love the weather here, which is consistently gorgeous during our Chicago winters. Villa Magna in particular because of the location in Nuevo on the north part of the beach, the open feeling of the floorplan, the new construction, and the perfect view of the ocean and sunset.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The pools are magnificent the beach is wide. Our on-site property manager is there to take care of any need you might have. Also, there are many restaurants, bars and amenities at the Dreams hotel, which is part of the Villa Magna resort.
