If you are coming to Ft. Myers with a group of extended family or friends then you will want to choose the right home for your "togethering" vacation. Stay in the beautiful, gated community of Verandah situated around a Robert Cupp designed golf course and a recently completed Jack Nicklaus Signature course. Manicured landscaping along the golf courses fused with natural old Florida preserves surrounds you in a lush, green environment.

From the welcoming entrance you see the magnificent open-concept living that awaits you. Every detail of our home has been custom designed and decorated to creat a grand experience for discerning vacationers. The master suite, VIP suite and guest suite ensure privacy for "together" vacationers.

Lounge in the comfortable, high-backed furniture in the Great Room; chat at the bar overlooking the adjoining gourmet kitchen. There is room for all your party at the distressed wood dining table. Curl up with a book in the den. From every window you view the lush natural areas, a signature of this community.

Open the French doors and slide open the 10 ft high wall of glass to experience what subtropical, Florida living has to offer on the extended, covered lanai. Enjoy the afternoon sun as you swim in the private, heated pool as the waterfall spills over. Relax your muscles as you soak in the large, adjoining spa. Easy access to the pool bath/laundry makes for easy living.

Let your grilling chef enjoy the outdoor kitchen with gas barbecue, fridge and sink while you relax in the loungers or wicker furniture.

In the evening, you will retire to your beautifully decorated suites. The Master wing can be closed off for complete privacy. Recline in the lounge chair before retiring to the comfortable queen, pillow-top bed. The large en suite has a jacuzzi tub, walk-in tiled shower and two mirrored vanity areas. French doors open onto the lanai so you can slip out anytime.

The VIP suite surrounds you in blue. Sleep well in the queen, pillow-top bed. The en suite has a soaker tub, tiled, walk-in shower and mirrored vanity. French doors open to the lanai as well.

For flexibility in accommodating children or singles, the guest room has two comfortable twin beds; or push the beds together to create a king arrangement. The adjoining bath has a walk-in shower and mirrored vanity. Close the French doors to the den and inflate the AeroBed deluxe guest bed to create an extra sleeping room for the perfect "sleep- over". The pool bath is close by for the convenience of guests.

Can't wait for fresh Florida orange juice at the glass table on the lanai where you can plan your day. Enjoy the fabulous lifestyle Verandah has to offer. Tour this green community on the walking trails or biking paths meandering along the river lined with moss draped oaks. You may even see a manatee swim by. Stop by the River House which houses the restaurant and lounge.

The Ft. Myers area has much to offer. Visit the attractions in town, plan a day on the water or at the beach, visit the artists towards Pine Island, golfing is available at over 60 courses in the area, shop... then relax again at our home.   • We loved staying in this beautiful home. It was spacious and the outdoor pool area is fantastic. We cooked in most nights and sat by the pool in the morning and evenings. The hot tub is great, too. It has a great layout and we loved all the bedrooms with own bath. Wireless internet was available and easy to use.The owner was available to answer questions at any time and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the Fort Myers area.

  • We are just completing our 1 month stay here- the house is wonderful! It is beautifully furnished- even the kitchen with details like Pampered Chef tools. Having 3 separate bedroom suites allowed our teenagers to have their own privacy- and us too! The outside lanai is great for entertaining- we enjoyed many great meals prepared on the built in grill. Lots of seating outside too and pool floats for your leisure. The pool faces west so you get great sun all day- and it overlooks the natural preserve area between the homes and golf course. We loved sitting out in the mornings and evenings near the pool and listening to all the birds. The owners took great care of us and promptly responded to our questions. Verandah is a beautiful place, and this home is the nicest available for rental. You will feel like you have "come home"! Thanks- we look forward to returning to here on our next Florida vacation- there's no reason to look elsewhere!

  • Outstanding house! Indoor and outdoor kitchen were wonderful! Pool/hot tub a great way to relax. Owners were very easy to work with and we would recommend this house to everyone!!
