This Hilton Head Villa is located in South Forest Beach in the heart of Hilton Head Island and is the premier place to stay. Situated between Coligny Plaza and Harbortown, you will be centrally located to all of the Island's entertainment, dining, shopping, golf, tennis, and other recreational activities.
You do not have to drive everywhere you go when you stay here. It is a 3 minute walk to the beach, 8 minutes to Coligny Plaza, 5 minutes to Fish Tales lounge and 2 minutes to Peckerhead's Pub, and 4 minutes to the General Store and Liquor Store. And for the kids, Waterfun Park is a 5 minute walk away.
The recreational path passes right in front of the villa, providing you with trails for biking, roller-blading, jogging, and walking. Lagoons, alligators, and island foliage are just a few of the scenic backgrounds for picturesque settings. And don't forget to take advantage of Hilton Head's most prized possession - the beach.
You will be pleasantly surprised at how nicely appointed this very affordable villa is. Enter into this two-story, newly decorated villa to find a new tile floor in the living room and dining room, and newer carpeting upstairs. Relax in the living room on a queen-sized floral sleeper sofa with a TV/VCR, two wicker chairs, and access to the patio, courtyard, and swimming pool through sliding glass doors. In the kitchen you will find all the major appliances, including a refridgerator with icemaker, an electric range, blender, cappucino and esspresso maker, coffee pot, and cooking utensils.
A dining table with four leather swivel chairs is located just off of the kitchen. Located on the second level is the master bedroom equipped with a queen bed with a deluxe Simmons sleep system mattress, dressers, night stand, and alarm clock. The guest bedroom, also on the second level, has two twin beds, a nightstand, and a dresser. You don't have to worry about old, uncomfortable mattresses here! Your quality night's sleep is guaranteed. The full bathroom is located between the 2 bedrooms and offers a shower/tub combo.
The villa itself is in the front row of the complex, making it the closest to the beach. There is an enclosed area to store beach chairs, boogey boards, bikes, and wet clothes in the front of the villa. It is tastefully decorated and furnished to provide a relaxing beach atmosphere. Pets are welcome as long as you let me know when you make your reservation. I assume that your pet is up-to-date on all shots and pills, and is well-trained. If not, please make sure it is prior to arrival. If your pet makes a lot of noise when you leave it (like mine!) you might want to consider a bark collar since the villas are connected.
All types of restaurants, bars, outlet shopping, boating, miniature golf, and sightseeing are all within a few miles of the resort. Recreational paths connect the whole island, so bring your bikes, rollerblades, and walking shoes. If you are looking to rent bikes, there is a bike rental shop just a short walk away. There are over 50 golf courses on the Island for all levels of players to enjoy. Beautiful Savannah, Georgia, is only a 45-minute drive away, a wonderful way to spend a day exploring a historic southern city.

I finally had time to post my experience at your beautiful villa, but couldn't figure out how to do it. I would reccomend this rental to everyone(I already told friends about it). I was sceptical at first,but now want info for repeat rentals. My husband, my Siberian husky, and I look foward to renting again, hopefully next year. Had a wonderful week (June25-July2,2005). Hi Kris - Just wanted to send you a note regarding our stay at 70 Hilton Head Cabana. We really enjoyed our stay. The villa was certainly in a great location - we took advantage of the beach across the street as well as the shopping at Coligny Plaza and strolling around in Harbor Town. I certainly enjoyed the very nice swimming pool and beautifully landscaped courtyard area as well as the peace and quiet We were glad to be able to have our cocker spaniel, Daisy, with us on our trip and she and I enjoyed our walks around the complex, along the walkways and over to the beach. Hopefully, we will be returning to Hilton Head in the near future and would love to rent the villa from you again. Thank you for your help in making our trip so enjoyable. Patti Dancy

Hi Kris - Just got back from vacation and wanted to tell you that your condo was just great! It was very convenient to the beach/restaurants, very clean, quiet, and well-stocked with towels, dishes, etc. My two dogs loved the dog biscuits too! I left everything in order and the way I found it (except I left dishes in dishwasher since I didn't know if maintenance re-washes everything once I left)..... Hi Kris, Just wanted to drop you a line to say what a great time we had in Hilton Head and surrounding area! We went to Sea Pines one day and walked on the trails. We took a boat cruise to see the dolphins out of an area near the Disney resort (can't think of the plantation name!), went to Savannah, GA and did a trolley car tour of the historical district (it was about 87 degrees!) and went to the Biltmore Castle on our way home. I know we did all the "touristy" kinds of things - but that's what we were! We spent several mornings at Java Joe's at Coligny Plaza and the bakery nearby. The weather was perfect the entire time. It started out in the 60's but quickly got into the 70's and even low 80's except for Savannah where it was much warmer. I picked up a real estate brochure and saw that there is a unit for sale at the Cabana's although there was no sign indicating one for sale. This has given us something to think about and thought we might ask some questions about the cost of condo fee's and the cost of heating/cooling/maintenance etc. If you don't mind sharing those details that is! Anyway, we had a blast - although we became "old people" while we were there! We were up very early in the mornings and in bed around 9:30 because it is so dark outside and so quiet!
