Step back in time to the Colorado Gold Rush and the old Midland Railroad in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Florissant Colorado. Imagine the people who lived here and enjoy the view of the mountains from the front porch and back deck of our Cozy Victorian home, circa 1887.
Furnished with historical photos of the area you will enjoy the wicker furniture in the parlor and the sleigh bed in the master bedroom. Two claw foot tubs for relaxing baths beyond compare!
Old well in the family room you can see thru the glass, home is decorated in a western Victorian style. Kitchen is fully furnished with modern amenities and great butcher block for preparing a fun meal.
The back yard is fenced and private and has a deck with a charcoal grill. Walk a block or two to all of these places~ great coffee and sandwich shop in old Victorian home, fossil beds for digging, library, museum and local town tavern.
The Mountain Inn is a great holiday getaway or just right for a bikers scenic weekend ride. From Muller State Park to Cripple Creek the scenery is spectacular and the wildlife is abundant.
Rock formations, wildflowers, deer, elk, bear, mountain lions, fox, mountain goats, and even burros that roam Cripple Creek stayed around after the miners left now are seen free roaming. Photography buffs grab your camera and have a field day in our back yard!
