Delightfully situated in a wooded area, the Kee-Way-Din House is just a mile from the new Base Village and nine miles from Aspen. The house was designed for truly comfortable, uncrowded living. The newly remodeled ample kitchen and breakfast bar overlook the spacious living - dining area which includes a stone fireplace. The kitchen features large counters, new major appliances including a microwave and beverage bar. aThere are also numerous small appliances. There are generous cupboard and storage areas and a fully equipped laundry room.
There are two decks, upstairs and downstairs with a hot tub on the downstairs deck. Also on the deck is a gas grill, table and numerous chairs.

We had a family reunion in Snowmass in July with 3 generations and up to 18 people in the house (several were children and slept on the floor). The house was large enough to accommodate all of us without it feeling cramped. Plenty of bathrooms-we were worried about all of us taking showers, but that was never an issue. The kitchen had all the utensils and accessories we needed. The location was great-very close to the town center, far enough away from the crowds and other neighbors. We were all able to do our own thing during the day and explore the Snowmass/Aspen area, and then gather in the evenings for great dinners. At night we had enough room for all of us to play games in the living room (lots of board games and puzzles in the cabinet). We were far enough from neighbors that we didn't have to worry about the noise. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The house was spotless and well maintained. The owners were great-answered all my emails and questions quickly, and even provided a self-addressed stamped envelope for return of the keys. Couldn't have been easier! I would highly recommend this place. Very reasonable price, considering how many people we had there, and the ability to cook and eat at home.We would go back again if we are ever in Snowmass again.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
