This FABULOUS custom log home is located in Michigan Hills which is one of the most prestigious developments in Park County. The luxurious 5 bedroom and 3 bath home is on 3 wooded acres overlooking Pikes Peak, Kenosha Pass, Mt. Evans and the mountain ranges to the South. The home has a spacious living area with a gas stone fireplace open to the huge dining area and kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs including the master bedroom and bath. Downstairs there is a work-out area and a second spacious living area with an additional fireplace. The fifth bedroom and bathroom are downstairs. Two of the bedrooms have twin beds. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the other two bedrooms have a queen bed and a full size bed. Winter months are limited to 6-8 persons due to well water system. This maximum increases to 10 in the summer months.
The home is not only beautiful inside but outside as well. The wrap-around porch offers magnificent views of the mountains and surrounding forest as well as a 6-person hot tub for relaxing after a day of skiing or hiking (no pets allowed in the hot tub). You will have 3 wooded and private acres to hike and explore right outside your door.
Michigan Hill is in the heart of all outdoor activities in the Rocky Mountains. You will be 45 minutes from world-class skiing in Breckenridge and Keystone and 45 minutes from Buena Vista with the best snowmobiling trails in Colorado. If snowshoeing to a ghost town sounds like fun, you will be in the right place. Nearby Boreas Pass and Alma offer mining ghost towns to hike or snowshoe to. Buena Vista is the location of the famous ghost town of St. Elmo. Whatever your outdoor hobby may be, it will be close by. The best fishing in Colorado includes nearby Jefferson Lake, Tarrayall Reservoir, Lake Antero, Lake George, and Eleven-Mile Reservoir. All offer ice-fishing in the winter as well. This area is considered one of the best for hunting with large herds of elk and deer. As for shopping you can choose from the antique stores in nearby Como, Fairplay, and Buena Vista or the outlet malls in Silverthorne.

This home is on a well water system and conservative water usage is required. There is a 350 gallon storage tank but if tenants are not water-conscious they are liable for the possibility of running out of water. Every luxury you can think of is standard in this home.
