Calm,cozy and charming flat on the top of Montmartre at Avenue Junot.A safe area,don't worry comming home late at night or beeing only girls.You are right next to great food shops down Rue Lepic, the Sacre Coeur church from where you have a view all over Paris, Place du Tertre where you find all the painters, Moulin Rouge, the wine yards.The old wind mill is just two minutes away,round the corner on rue Lepic. Artists, actors and comedians are living on this avenue. This is also the avenue where Edit Piaff lived a period of her life.
The Metro station "Lamarc-Caulaincourt" is only few minutes walk away,and it will take you less than 15 minutes to get to champ elysé ,Place de la concorde,Opera or l'arche de la triomphe.

Cosy,romantic,calm and a comfortable bed, are the words that our guests repeat to us when they leave.
When you arrive at 12 avenue Junot you enter an art deco building from 1930.
We are sure you will find the apartment both calm and serene which must be just what you need after a hectic day exploring Paris. A French painter used to live in this apartment for many years and we have kept his easel and some of his works as decoration.

The flat has been completely renovated and decorated with a combination of old and new.Simplicity and clarity with coulors are the themes we have used to decorate the apartment. Sunlight streams into the apartment from different directions, giving it the advantage of being bright and inviting.

In the living room,there is a comfortable chesterfield sofa as well as a sofa that can convert to a bed to sleep and additional two people. The double sized living room has a dining area with a table that can comfortably accommodate up to six adults. The bedroom is large and airy,by Parisian standards,and has a king size bed with percale linen. The kitchen provides everything required for a gourmet cook. The modern bathroom and the shower have old, Italian cream coloured marble tiles and a marble sink.

The court yard has a tabel and chairs if you would like to sit outside.
The apartment is right next to a nice park/playground,where you can play "petanque" or just relax on a bench watching the Parisians or read a book in the shadows from the trees.

We can supply childrens highchair, bed and bath tub on request.

  • You read other guests comments and hope that you dont stuff up when you plan you wife's 40th surprise bday . Well, Im happy to say that 12 Avenue Junot, is exactly as I was hoping it to be. Spacious, very quiet, immaculately clean and very well located with everything within a short walking distance to everything . It was a fabulous base to visit Paris, for 2 weeks . Marianne was always more than happy to help with any inquiry or request. ( She really is very nice.) My wife commented that she was as comfortable in the apartment as she was at home. Enough said......... Highly Recommended.

  • My husband and I have just returned from a 5 day break in Paris, having stayed at this fantastic apartment. It has everything you could possibly need or want .... and more! The location is perfect for exploring Paris as the nearest Metro is a short walk away, as are local shops and restaurants. Sacre Coeur is just up the road which is surrounded by bars and restaurants, although Avenue Junot itself is a peaceful haven to return to. Paris is our favourite city (we got engaged there) and have visited many times always staying in hotels, but we are so glad we booked this apartment and will never stay anywhere else again! Our hosts were charming, friendly and accomodating - they let us leave our luggage there as we had a late flight and even offered to take us to the airport. They have an information pack in the apartment and also give you helpful local information (eg make sure you wait for the lift when returning to the nearest metro as there are loads of stairs) Don't hesitate to book this apartment - it exceeded our expectations and we are planning our next visit

  • We just wanted to let everyone thinking of staying at this property to BOOK IT!!! It was absolutely, without a doubt, the best holiday my husband and I have ever had. We were here mid-June of 2009 and are already planning our next visit. The apartment is even more lovely in person- every amenity you can think of is there. There are a million little touches - the current guidebooks to the city, plush bathrobes in the closets,and the extra pillows in the cupboards - all making the overall experience outstanding. Marianne and her husband were beyond hospitable, and helped us get our bearings once we arrived in Montmartre.I highly suggest having them pick you up from the airport if you are unfamiliar with the city...it can be a bit unnerving watching the drivers zooming in and out of traffic in the city.It was so amazing to sight-see in the city during the day, and retreat to our little oasis surrounded by beautiful homes, stores, and a park. We got to know a few of the neighbourhood spots quite well- the butcher, bakeries, and cafes are all wonderful. Anything else you needed was a short walk to the grocery store- pack lightly so you can shop, shop, shop! Again, we would like to thank our wonderful hosts so much, and we look forward to staying with them again soon. Kathy and Jason W.

  • : A perfect place to enjoy the delights Paris and in particular Montmartre has to offer. The apartment is utterly delightful and our hostess could not have been more helpful. It is everything you could want and more. Pristine condition and so well presented everything you could think of to make your stay a very happy one. We just wished we had longer.

  • My daughter and I stayed here and LOVED it! It was beautiful and perfectly situated for us. We debated on where to stay and we are very glad we chose Montmartre. We were only about 15 minutes from any of the tourist areas, but staying here felt like the Paris we wanted to see. This is a quiet and safe neighborhood, but it's close enough to walk to cafes, shops and the metro. We especially loved stopping at the markets to pick up groceries for dinner at night- cooking here made us feel even more at home. Marianne was great- I would definitely stay here again. (Hopefully soon!)

  • my husband and i stayed here for 8 nights last week and very much enjoyed our stay. we're so glad we chose to rent this apt (vs getting a hotel) for many reasons. it was like a home away from home: the neighborhood is quiet, close to the metro, the bed is super comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked with all major appliances and plenty of dishes, cups, cutlery, silverware, etc. also, marianne was very helpful and even picked us up from the airport! the apartment is beautifully decorated, too, which i love. next time we're in paris, we're definitely staying here again.

  • We stayed at this wonderful apartment in jan 09 for 4 nights. The apartment is beautiful decorated, so comfortable with everything you need. The most comfortable bed l have ever slept in, lovely crockery and appliances aswell. Location perfect for the metro, a 5 minute walk and shops, resturants everywhere. Marianne, our host was so helpful to us in translatng and organising things for us when we couldnt translate. So thankyou Marianne we so hope to come back and stay again. Maree Sloan
