Available for monthly rentals only. Unlike nearly all of its peer resorts across the country, the Town of Mammoth Lakes does not allow the short-term rental of single family vacation homes. If you would like to stay in a private home in Mammoth this season, and pay the same 13% lodging tax that guests pay at motels and condos, rather than flying to Park City or Aspen or Whistler where single-family home rentals are legal, please sign this petition to change Mammoth's outdated and overreaching zoning code. Fabulous Vacation Rental just steps from Canyon Lodge and a shuttle bus stop to the Village. Our three bedroom, two bath second home was completely remodeled in 2007 and updated with the finest details. Its proximity is ideal, sitting on a cul-de-sac with very little traffic, among majestic pine trees and other single family homes. The views are spectacular, with large windows in every room, overlooking the open spaces and Village Gondola.
The upstairs master bedroom with private bathroom boasts a jacuzzi tub. It is a great place to relax after a satisfying day outdoors. Downstairs are two bedrooms, a full bath with tub-shower and laundry room. The first guest room has a bunk bed (twin on top and full on the bottom) and the second has a queen bed. Our home sleeps up to 7 people and is the perfect getaway for one or two families.
The brand new kitchen opens to the living room, featuring fine granite counter tops, plenty of light and professional appliances... Makes meal prep as fun as lounging on the Italian leather sofa.
Quality furnishings throughout the home set this cabin apart from the typical rental. You will appreciate the beautiful wood floors (made from local fallen trees), custom master bedroom set, fine artwork and architectural details. Warm up sitting on the fireplace hearth listening to the quality audio system, or enjoy the game on 37' LCD TV (choice of 100's of channels).
Central heating and humidification, new front loading laundry, and driveway snow removal will make your stay that much more pleasant.
During the day the very large deck has areas in both the sun & shade. Kick back on the patio furniture for happy hour, or bundle up with a night cap counting the shooting stars.
For both Winter and Summer, this cabin is a perfect retreat which allows you to enjoy all that Mammoth has to offer. You could spend a month here and do something new every day!
