2020, what an address for a quiet hideaway atop Bear Creek Crossing Resort with a 270 degree view! New, clean, beautiful decor, comfortable furniture, two hot tubs--one inside, one on the deck-- and ample amenities made our stay so very enjoyable that we found we never had to leave the area until time to pack up. This property was all it claimed to be and more. As a writer, I was especially grateful for high speed internet even in the beautiful Smoky Mountains

We had a wonderful experience at your cabin. It was clean, pet friendly, the price was reasonable, and everything was in working order. The listing description and photos were accurate. The neighbors were quiet and everyone seemed very friendly. There was plenty to do and the kids were entertained with the pool table, air hockey, and movies. The night of our arrival we went to The Blue Moose for the best wings ever! The serving staff were personable. We went to the Nascar Speedway the following day. Plan to spend the entire day there. The food was pricey but the carts were fun and the kids loved it.The rest of the weekend we spent in the cabin just relaxing on the back deck and enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountains. You are definitely as high as the treetops which is great for birdwatchers. I took a close up picture of a cardinal! We would definitely come back. It's been about 6 weeks since we've been there and the kids are still talking about how much fun they had in Pigeon Forge. Thanks for sharing your cabin on the mountain!

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our party of 4. I took my 10 yr old son and my friend took her 13 yr old grandson and there was plenty of space for all of us. We loved, loved, loved the hot tub and tried to use it as much as possible. The beds were comfortable and loved that they were king sized. Not as soft as mine at home but good for a rental. There didn't seem to be a lot of insulation from the noise. We could hear through the walls pretty easily but it didn't take away from our stay at all. We couldn't find a hair dryer and for 2 women with lots of hair that was kind of a drag. Was thankful for the fan we found in the closet and just sat in front of it. lol. The ice machine didn't work or we just couldn't figure it out. The indoor pool was a drive and not a walk away like I'd hoped. None of this took away from our vacation though. We were so sad to leave and really loved that place and thought it was well worth the money...very clean and nice place to stay and we would stay there again! Robin-Seymour, IN

My family loved the cabin. We had plenty of room and the cabin was very clean. My children had a blast in the loft which had a great library of movies and play station games, a pool table, and an air hockey table. The cabin was very close to the attractions and restaurants in Pigeon Forge and I felt safe knowing that the cabin was in a gated community. Tom was only a phone call away when I got lost trying to find the cabin number in the dark. I appreciate him for being so involved with his property and so willing to help out late on a Friday night! I cannot think of anything I would have changed about the cabin. It was wonderful and my children are already planning our trip for next year. Thank you again!

LeRoy, Lois my family and in-laws have taken alot of vacations together over the past six years and there was none more enjoyable than staying at the retreat. I only wish we would have spent all six days at the cabin instead of staying in Atlanta for three days. Three days isn't enough to take in all of the fascinating things to do. We had an awesome time. Went to Dollywood and took in the shows, this was far better than any Six Flags or Adventureland trip. We took my wifes parents along whom are in there 70's and they really enjoyed the time as well, there aren't many opportunities for them to go anywhere unless we take them with us. We all had a very good time, relaxing, peaceful and most of all the view was extrodinary. We got up early in the morning and sat out on the back deck looking at the mountains. We look forward to a return visit in July 2012. This time around I'll have the grandkids with us. Would the same cabin be available or a three bedroom at the top of the mountain. Not sure if you plan this far out or not, but we would sure like to come back to the same spot in 2012. Once again everything beautiful and well managed.

Tom ... When we found Smoky Mountain Retreat on Vrbo we never dreamed it would be so nice...far exceeded our expectations. So spacious and modern with all the amenities anyone could won't..The sunset views from the deck was wonderful..The cabin is gorgeous...The indoor and outdoor pools was super nice with the waterfall.. the kids loved it.The hot tub also was really nice the whole family enjoyed soaking in it while we cooked steaks and burgers on the gas grill..So glad we already have our next getaway booked at Smoky Mountain Retreat planning on making this our home away from home.. We had a awesome time at Smoky Mountain Retreat..Your home was perfect and the location was great. The cabin was fully equipped with everything anyone could wont..exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated..We totally enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and hottub...The younger kids loved playing mini - golf , pool and air hocky. The location was perfect...has that wonderful mountain feel but so close to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area...We went to the Comedy Barn & Dixie Stampede and highly recommend staying at Smoky Mountain Retreat and seeing both shows " terriffic".... What a beautifully decorated and spacious cabin to spend our vacation in ! The game room was put to good use with hours of pool and air hocky. The beautiful swimming pools & mini-golf was awesome the kids had a ball...My husband & i loved setting on the beautiful wrap-around deck enjoying a after dinner drink while watching the beautiful mountain sunset..We had rain on 2 days of our stay,it was so peaceful , serene and cozy just staying in and watching all the movies you have in the cabin and beating the kids in air hocky & pool...LOL...We had a wonderful time and will return....We highly recommend this beautiful cabin to everyone ..PS.. the Almo has the best steaks ever...
