  This condo was perfect for our needs. It is in a wonderful location! Its always nice when you're on vacation to be within walking distance to everything, and there is also a grocery store within two blocks. The only time we used our car was for making the trip to Folly Beach. The condo itself has very nice features. Its nice to have the luxury details to make everything more comfortable. The bed was supper comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked with nice cook wear. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Charleston.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

  We stayed here for our wedding and the condo and location was great. Patty was so gracious and had a welcome bottle of wine waiting for us. I felt very safe with the gated entry and appreciated the private parking space. I really liked the upscale features of the condo, especially the nice bathroom. I have no complaints, everything was great and would love to stay again!

  This apartment was in an ideal location - easy to walk to everything but in a quiet residential area. The grocery store two blocks away is great. The linens are lovely and LOTS of towels, kitchen stuff is everything you need. There is no couch, two comfy chairs. On the first floor so good for people who hate stairs! We had a lovely stay.

  Owner response: I don't solicit reviews, but certainly appreciate your taking the time to provide an online review. The living area of this condo is furnished with two leather chairs for seating; however, someone prefers a sofa and chairs, the adjacent condo provides this option (vrbo #129708).

  After reading through the other entries, we consider ourselves lucky to have visited Charleston on many occasions. Being an '88 graduate of The Citadel and having a senior at C of C have given us a great excuse to visit the Holy City. We enjoy staying in new places and discovering things we have never seen. 53 Hasell St. was a perfect spot for us to do both on our anniversary. After good times, good food, and good drink, it is sad to have to return home. Thank you for your hospitality!

  Patty & Randy, Thank you again for hosting yet another wonderful stay in Charleston. Your hospitality never gets old or always seems new, which is it? Both. We can't wait to get back. We hope it will be soon. Our favorites this time were the bruschetta @ Bocci and live jazz at Mercato (and O'Hara and Flynn was a pleasant surprise)

  Patty & Randy, Our first trip to Charleston was wonderful. We enjoyed the City - the art galleries, museums & fantastic food. The people here are so friendly and welcoming - we will surely be back. The condo was perfect & the location the best. The convenience of Harris-Teeter [Owner's note: Harris-Teeter is a local, upscale grocery store within walking distance from the condo] was fantastic and the flowers and wine were appreciated.

  This was our first visit to Charleston and we LOVE the city!!! Had a great time, did a lot of walking and enjoyed all the old homes and beautiful gardens! Had great meals, too!! The condo was great! Convenient location and had all the amenities! Thank you!
