We had a group of 10 guys up for a weekend of poker and movies. Had a great time and found the house accommodating. The hot tub and sitting around the fire were nice features as well. There is also a nice size yard to throw a football or frisbee and there was little to no traffic on the street.

Thank you so much for sharing your "home" with us! My friends & I, get together for a "girls" weekend every year and this by far was one of the best. This home was the nicest, cleanest, most comfortable house we have ever stayed in - - it was very hard to leave!!! :) I can't find the words to say how much we loved staying here and can't wait to come back next year.

Couples Weekend Away

We had a total of 3 couples stay for a 3 day weekend. The cabin was very accomadating for 6 people and had plenty of amenities. We loved having seperate bedrooms as some people liked to stay up later, and those that were tired could go to their own room without waking up others. There's plenty of empty cupboard space by the kitchen table which kept us from having bags and bags of food laying around the floor. And the fridge was clean and empty so we had plenty of space and didn't need to use our coolers. It was fun sitting in the hot tub on a cold winter night (as we were climbing in, we were simultaneously freezing and hot at the same time) which we did both nights when we were there. The excellent communication is one reason we are planning on staying again next year. Stacy got back to me in a timely manner with both e-mails and texts, before and while we were at the cabin. It was very refreshing to get quick responses, as other places I've stayed at have taken 24hours to get back to me. Stacy almost always responded within 10 minutes. Definately recommend staying here.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We enjoyed each morning watching the sunrise over the beautiful lake. The accommodations were perfect, everything you needed to prepare a dinner was there. Our grandkids love the game table and the video table game, not to mention the football table. Your home is laid out perfectly, we were never on top of one another, plenty of space to be alone to read a book. I would highly recommend this beautiful "home" on the lake. I stayed at the cabin with four colleagues for a writing retreat. The cabin was beautiful, very clean and well-maintained, and afforded incredible views of the lake. The first morning was especially beautiful as we were able to watch the sun rise over the lake. The scenery was amazing, which provided opportunities for great walks as a break from writing. The hot tub was also top quality! The owners were extremely helpful in booking the cabin and bent over backwards to help us get everything set up. We were really close to excellent dining and movie theaters. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!!

Our Girls Weekend!!

We love the house - it was beautiful! It was clean and well maintained! It was the perfect place for a girls weekend. Stacy was very accomodating and helpful! The kitchen was very nice for cooking and holding all of our stuff! Love the TV and radio, we danced like it was 1999!! Next time we will bring a boat! The hot tub was great and the front yard was perfect for badmitton and ladder ball! We had a blast! Our only complaint would be the lack of kitchen trash bags and toilet paper, but thankfully one of us read the previous comments and brought some just incase! One kitchen trash bag does not go very far with 7 ladies that like things clean for 3 days!!! Thank you Cary and Stacy!! We will for sure come there again! We already have more pople asking to come next year!! P.S. Also thank you for your cleaning staff for putting away my UPS order for me - that was a life saver! We really enjoyed sitting in the tube!

I usually only supply the first roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, first trash bag, and a small Tide, bar soap, shampoo, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. What a great place!! The moment we walked in the front door, we knew we would have a great weekend. We rented this place for a guys weekend of ice fishing and fun. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is absolutely beautiful!

My husband and I have now stayed at this cabin twice. Once with our toddler and in-laws for a quiet weekend and once with a group of friends and our toddler. It is very clean and well taken care of. It's very family and kid friendly, but at the same time, is great for groups as there are a good number of bedrooms. The owners are great to work with. There are a couple large rooms for groups to spend time together in. We had fun using the card table and arcade games. The view is gorgeous. A very lovely and relaxing place. Folks in our party went skiing during the day, which was not too far away. We'd stay again and again. Highly recommended.

Perfect Get-Away

After a long semester of college and work, it was great to finally catch a break with friends somewhere away from the cities. The house was perfect for relaxing and playing games all weekend. It was very spacious, but yet close enough to keep everyone together. The view was beautiful and the lake was great to play ultimate frisbee on. The bedrooms are wonderful, but yet every year we have to draw for rooms. The house is full of fun things to do and the new Pac-man machine is a great add. Thank you Stacy for sharing your wonderful cabin with us and allowing us to create so many memories. -"Asian Sensation"

Amazing Girls Weekend!

Myself and some coworkers stayed here for a weekend girls getaway and what a relaxing, fun, comfortable time we had! The house is beautiful and comfortable and very well appointed. We had plenty of space to relax and the covered hot tub was a wonderful bonus for our tired bodies! We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and eating area and had fun making and sharing meals and playing games at the poker table upstairs! We all agreed on what a wonderful stay we had and that we each plan on returning sometime! The home could easily be used for families, couples or girls like us looking to get away. And remember to appreciate the amazing view of Lake Mille Lacs, too!!

This is the second year for us at Cary and Stacy's great home on the lake. We thought this was a great place to have our kids and grandkids spent a week with us on vacation. The fishing was great and the availability of launching our boats right by their house really was nice. The grandkids all had fun playing in the yard and enjoyed the many video games and movies they could play while inside. There was plenty of room for all of us - including a baby bed right there for the littlest grandchild. The view is great and easy access to the dock to go fishing. The home is air conditioned and that was needed while we were there as it was hot and sunny all week so that's another extra. We caught some really nice walleyes.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The upstairs game room was a hit and gave us a spectacular view of the lake, which was just steps away. Had a great winter getaway with my girlfriends. The house was so well stocked with games and toys that we had a blast. Of course the hot tub was a highlight! The listing description was right on! There was plenty of sleeping space for our party. The property was very clean and the owner was very friendly and easy to work with. I will definately recommend this property to friends and family both. I am also keeping this property in mind for our future retreats. The spa was a great ending to a relaxing day of shopping in nearby towns. The property was on a nice quiet road for walking also.

Great time in Garrison!

Some friends and I rented Cary and Stacy's cabin for a weekend getaway, and we couldn't have asked for a better time. It has a great layout and was a great size--actually more than we needed for 9 people! It had all the amenities we needed, with the exception of extra toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags... but that was an easy run to the small supermarket in Garrison. Everything else was provided, including great quality towels, nice dishes, ample fridge and freezer space for food for the weekend, everything! We ventured out to Kathio State Park (about 20 minutes away) and climbed the 100-foot observation tower. It was gorgeous looking out over the fall leaves and Mille Lacs. We are considering making this an annual trip and highly suggest other people check out their great cabin.

We made this beautiful home ours for one week this past June (as our summer family vacation) and everyone of us enjoyed our time. With great living space for our family of seven. Large kitchen and living area. Plenty of rooms. Well stocked home/kitchen. Games galore and game area. Very family friendly and a well kept, clean home. Lots of natural light from all the windows and a beautiful lake view. Woodsy in the backyard with a family of deer visiting regularly. Fishing was awesome and it is not far out from the dock. Seriously. You will find that the launches near by will be fishing the area. We caught fish daily, mostly perch, some walleye. I can't say enough, as we left very pleased with our stay. Cary and Stacy are a wonderful couple to work with and we hope to visit again soon. Thank you!

Our family gathered for a weekend in April at Cary and Stacy's cabin and it was excellent!! There was plenty of room, both inside their beautiful house and outside in both the front and back yards. The lake view is spectacular and the nice quiet street was perfect for taking scenic walks by the lake. The house has everything with room to spare. Thanks for a great experience! We will be back!

We had our family gathering Easter weekend at the cabin and it was fantastic!! The house itself was beautiful and furnished perfectly with everything we needed and more, making it home away from home. Everyone was able to relax, visit, play games and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare our Easter dinner. The owners Cary and Stacy came out to intruduce themselves and made sure all was as we had hoped....It was! Thank you for a terrific stay and we look forward to coming back soon!

We stayed at Cary's house this past weekend. I had a surprise 30th birthday party for my fiance, everything was absolutely PERFECT! The house was great because there was so much room and so much to do. We hung upstairs in the game room, played cards and foosball. Relaxed downstairs by the cozy little fire place, or watched tv and played xbox. Everyone had such a great time!! When it came time to leave nobody wanted to go! I just want to Thank Cary and Stacy for everything, they were Great. Very easy going and wonderful to work with. We cannot wait to come back!
