The house is fabulous. Great location. Our family trip was relaxing. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out. Loved the large kitchen. The owners had the pool heated for us and we enjoyed playing volleyball. The owners were friendly and very helpful. They did everything possible to make sure we were taken care of.

Although it rained most of our stay, my family and i really enjoyed this vacation. Everything we needed was right at the house.The house looked just like the photos. My grandchildren asked if they could stay there forever. The owner was very nice. I felt like i had known her forever. I recomend this house to all my family and friends. We will be going back again.

Everything was as advertized. The owners were friendly and available if needed but were not needed. The condition of the home exceeded expectation, making our stay there even more rewarding. We will most definately stay there again and would recomment it to even our best of best friends to stay at, knowing they would be pleased with their stay too.

My family - my Mother, Father, Brother, Sister-in-Law, Husband & 4 children (ages 14,12,7 & 2) spent a week in this home and did not want to leave! It was perfect and allowed everyone their own space.Foley, Gulf Shores, & Orange Beach are all neighboring towns with plenty to do BUT we rarely felt the need to leave our little oasis! The kids & adults spent hours a day in the pool, hot tub, and back yard. The home is so comfortable. The pictures capture exactly what they have to offer PLUS more! My mom was in heaven in the fully stocked kitchen! We were able to enjoy family-style meals at the huge dining table. Ms Debbie was extremely helpful and attentive but very respectful of our space (I think we saw her once in 7 days!) We were able to make so many memories @ Blue Dolphin Manor II - we would definitely stay here again! The only thing we would have liked was to be able to play our Wii and PS3 on the last 2 rainy days there since we were stuck in the house but all in all our stay was PERFECT! Thanks again Debbie!

Debbie, we thoroughly enjoyed your home! The pictures were exactly like the house! It was roomy and we never felt crowded. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could want to cook for the family. It was perfectly located close to everything. A Perfect Vacation!

House is exactly as depicted on-line: immaculate and spacious! The backyard "beach" and screened in pool were lifesavers, as the kids got spooked by jellyfish at the real beach in Gulf Shores and refused to go back. They were content to stay home since the house is like being in your own private resort. They spent all day and night in the pool! Don't know what we would have done if we'd been staying elsewhere. Debbie and her husband were gracious hosts and very accommodating. It's wonderful that they live near by and are able/willing to help answer questions and/or address any issues immediately. Our issues were extremely minor (I wasn't sure how to operate the commercial coffee maker and one of the televisions got accidentally switched off it's main channel and wouldn't transmit), but they dropped whatever they were doing to come to our rescue! I'd definitely recommend this property.

Everything You Need is at Blue Dolphin

Our family of four plus our canine daughter thoroughly enjoyed our week at Blue Dolphin. We usually stay on the beach, but because of our son's deployment, we had to find a place in a hurry, and could find nothing on the beach that was pet friendly. Well, I don't know if we will ever stay on the beach again. The boys only went to the beach one time during our week's stay. My husband and I don't usually spend time on the beach anyway, but we all enjoyed the pool - the enclosure makes it perfect. Debbie works very hard to keep the yards looking beautiful, and is available for any needs you may have. The kitchen has anything you may need for cooking, but there are so many wonderful restaurants - especially Oyster House and Lulu's- that we really did not use it much. The beds were comfortable, and the house was furnished very nicely (which you don't always find when people open their nice homes up to pets). We would definitely recommend this lovely home for your family.

Forever Sisters

This property was perfect for our reunion of college sisters who met and became friends about 40 years ago. The pictures on this site are accurate, the house and grounds are immaculately kept, the kitchen great for a large group, and the pool perfect. We breakfasted on the patio, played games on the dining and kitchen tables, enjoyed our swims and soaks in the hottub, and loved that the beach was so close but our lodging so private. Debbie and Fred are great and very helpful. We only wished that our grandchildren could have enjoyed the terrific backyard!

A beach in your own backyard

We had 2 adults and one dog stay in this lovely 4BR, 3BA, screened in in-ground heated pool, outdoor jacuzzi spa, private beach, and indoor jacuzzi bathtub. The house was immaculate, right out of "My Big, Fat Greek Wedding." If you had small kids, you would not even need to go to the beach, there is a beach in your backyard with kids toys. I loved waking up early and taking my dog for a walk around the corner and exploring the properties along the canal/tributary off Mobile Bay. There is a grand, architecturally exquisite wooden bridge that leads to a deserted small island. We enjoyed shopping at Foley Tanger Outlet Mall and a small, old time drugstore on McKenzie(Hwy 59) in downtown Foley. It had great gift items, right on a corner with a book exchange attached. Eating at Lambert's is always a treat. On Saturday night, we drove down to Gulf Shores to eat at "The Hangout." I love that place, the food is good and the entertainment is fantastic with a live band, kids playing, people of all ages dancing, and much more. One night, we ate dinner at Les Roux, the food was horrible along with the service. We are from New Orleans, that was not true Cajun cooking. Debbie lives in the house two doors down. She was very helpful and very prompt. If you have a huge crowd, you can rent both houses(also rents out, the one in between). I would stay here again, we were attracted to the pool and that they took pets. We received our full deposit back in a check, within two weeks.

This is a beautiful home in a perfect location. Away from the noise and yet so close to everything. The photos were very true to the home, it"s everything you see and more! Debbie and Fred were the perfect hosts, there to help but always respectful of your privacy. I would recommend this rental any day to any one! We want to come back and bring the whole family! Thanks Debbie, and we'll never forget the beautiful Alabama sunset the 4 of us enjoyed!

The house was just as discribed if not better! Large group of us stayed very comfortably in the well furnished house with a extremly large kitchen and bed rooms! The pool was perfect even on a rainy day, and the sand volleyball court made our trip! Highly recommend this house to anyone. Debbie was also veryyyy helpful amnd friendly. The beach was just down the road with lots of resturant to go to and the outlet malls. A+++ we will go back!

The photos were perfect identifying the house. It was beautiful, spacious, very well maintained and cleanliness was superb. The owners hospitality was wonderful and very willing to do anything we asked, but never overbearing. All of our questions were answered very readily and always in a friendly manner. This was a family vacation (all 16 of us,including 9 grandchildren) and everyone said this was the greatest vacation ever - weather was perfect, the screened in pool was wonderful and used 100% of the time. There was plenty of room everywhere - inside and outdoors and no one ever got in any ones way. Bedding was provided for everyone and plenty of room to spread out. We all used the big patio area for barbecues and lounging around and enjoyed every minute of it. We were located close to shopping areas, grocery stores, movie theaters and the beach and there was no problem in finding any place we wanted to go. We found LULU's restaurant to be a fun place to go for lunch and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend this rental property to all of our friends as it is truly a great vacation home with all of its wonderful facilities without ever leaving the property. Ken and Val

Debbie, Everything went so smoothly from booking our reservation, to communicating with you, and all through our stay. When we pulled up to the house I said, to my husband, "It looks just like it does in the pictures!!". It's an absolutely georgous house and in a nice quite neighborhood. The back yard is like your own little resort area with the sand, pool, and hot tub. Best of all, it was all to ourselves!! We couldn't have asked for anything better!!! Thank you, for making our vacation a dream come true!!

Great Vacation

This is definitly the best house we have rented for vacation. We had a great time. Close to the beach, but you don't have to go there because there is everything you need right at the house. The pool, hottub, loungechairs and sand box area are all you need. It was very relaxing and Debbie was the most gracious host. This is a truly a unique vacation home. It has all of the extra ammenities you could ask for and is within 10 minutes of all the activities the Gulf Shores area has to offer. The owner, Debbie, is a friendly person and flexible in any request that you may have. It was perfect for the surprise birthday party that I threw for my wife, and very easy to find. I traveled from Michigan to Alabama with my high school softball team so we could practice in the warm weather during our spring break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. We had 14 teenage girls and 6 adults staying in the house and the accommodations were very comfortable. The owners live two doors down and were very accessable to answer our questions, yet did not hover. From the planning stages of our vacation to the time we left the property, the owner was prompt in addressing our questions and was very congenial. We loved the location because the house is off the beaten path, yet it's close to Wal-Mart, the Tanger Outlet mall, and Lamberts restaurant, and it is about 5 miles to the beautiful beach of Gulf Shores. I would highly recommend this property to any group. The backyard is great for grilling and the kitchen is huge. The living room is large enough to be a meeting place for a group, yet the bedroom areas are private and peaceful. When we arrived, Debbie met us, took us on a tour of the house, and showed us where everything was. She was extremely hospitable. If I take my team to Alabama again for spring break, I would definitely want to stay at this property.

A Great Value

We spent a week in this rental property with 13 high school girls and 6 adult chaperones. We definitely had enough space. The kitchen is very large and allowed several of us to fix dinner at the same time. The location is appealing as it is off the beaten path but within a few miles of Walmart, the Tanger Outlet and Lamberts, yet it is only about 5 miles to Gulf Shores and the beautiful beach. Whenever we had questions, the owner, who lives two doors down, promptly helped us. She was there when we needed her but otherwise allowed us to do our own thing. I would recommend this rental property to any group traveling to the Gulf Shores area.

This home is absolutely perfect and met all of our needs. It is very spacious, elegant, and accommodating for large groups. We visited from California and were able to host a family reunion. The kitchen had every amenity needed, even 2 crock pots for our chili cook-off. If this home had been available for a longer period of time, we would have loved to spend our entire vacation there. Next time we will book it further in advance. Thank you for your southern hospitality.

We rented this lovely house the first week of August and we were thrilled with the house. It was simply beautiful and so spacious that my whole family had plenty of room. Very beautifully decorated, with everything you need for the comforts of home. The owners made sure that everything we needed was provided and they were so nice and friendly and accomodating. We will definetely be looking to rent it again next year.

Hi Debbie,We would like to thank you for a truly wonderful week. Blue Dolphin Manor #2 was great for our family. We had 6 adults and 7 children in our group and there was plenty of room for all. One day my three year old granddaughter Jenna asked me: “Who’s house is this?” I said: “It’s our house for the week, why?” Jenna’s reply was: “It’s so beautiful.” On another day we hosted a family reunion at Blue Dolphin Manor #2 which totaled 34 people. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon at the pool and the spacious house. There were many compliments for Blue Dolphin Manor #2 that day. Two of these were…… how close it was for some of our family staying at Orange Beach and how spacious the house was (especially the kitchen). Debbie you were always quick and helpful in filling every need we had. Thank you. We can truly say we stayed in our dream home for a week and at some point we will be back. Thanks again.

This was our first time to visit the beautiful state of Alabama and we picked the perfect spot and house! Your property really had it all and looks just like the photos! The house was beautiful, very spacious and clean. It is located in a very quite area away from all the hustle and bustle of the beach, but only a short drive away from the beach. The outdoor area with a large sandbox for the kids was wonderful, two basketball goals and a large screened in pool were great!! Several good restaurants and shopping are all located right there. The owners are extremely nice and very accomadating. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend this property.
