Horseback, mule wagon and trekking tours are locally available. Honokaa, a scenic, old "sugar town" with galleries, a great bakery, health center and other amenities is four miles away. Hilo is one-hour away, Volcano one-and-a-half hours, Kona about an hour and fifteen minutes. |
