A three mile boardwalk for strolling or riding beach cruiser bikes provided free of charge to our guests. Lots of restaurants along the beach in this area, just a 10 minute walk.
A historic wooden pier that is a favorite amongst visitors and locals for stunning sunsets and photos. Don't miss the delicious breakfasts at Kono's, a local's favorite!
Sail Bay is the northern-most section of Mission Bay, a 4000 acre Aquatic Park, and there is a 4 mile boardwalk around this part of it for strolling, skating, or riding bikes.
A wonderful family playground right on the bay with clean restrooms, water fountains, showers, grassy areas, sand and lots of play equipment, slides, swings, etc.
The largest aquatic park in the United States with beaches for swimming, boating, and bon-fires... and one of our favorite spots to watch SeaWorld's fireworks!
The two best grocery stores in town. Henry's is like a Wild Oats or Whole Foods. Trader Joe's has interesting, delicious gourmet and ethnic food and inexpensive wine. Henry's is an organic foods store
Catch the Bahia Bell paddle-wheel boat at the Catamaran dock and cruise around Mission Bay with live music...for the cost of a drink.
Family entertainment area with rides range from a carousel to a hair raising roller-coaster. Eat lunch at The WaveHouse and watch surfers ride The Wave or go for a Swim at the Plunge, an Olympic-size
Downtown San Diego's dining, entertainment and urban shopping district. And don't forget the home of the San Diego Padres baseball team.

My family and I stayed here for a family trip over Valentine's Day/President's Day weekend. Nancy and Jeremy took were a pleasure to deal with and we found that everything was just as they said it would be. We were able to go to the beach, Sea World and the Zoo in a quick 4 day trip. Thanks for your superb accommodation and service!

I was very happy with the price and stayed there for about 2 weeks in December of 08, other then being a bit noisy, it is very close to the beach and and right next to the main strip in Pacific beach. Very clean and there staff catered to all my needs promptly.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, pet owners, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children.
