We loved the privacy of the backyard. We swam, hung out, and hot tubbed with and without our clothes. The grapefruit we picked right off the tree tasted so sweet and juicy! We loved the outdoor shower! We had less then a mile to go to the new bike trail that runs from Sarasota to Venice. The beach was less than a mile in the other direction. Good kitchen, roomy house. Great place to stay. Skip and Kelly were cooperative and fun to deal with. Overall a great experience!

Our four month stay at this home was fabulous! The owners furnished it with everything anyone could want or need ...fully equipped kitchen, beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, spacious rooms, many seating areas, games, puzzles, hot tub, swimming pool, internet, FiOS TVs, Free phone, etc.!! The private fenced backyard with all the foliage was wonderful for us and our dogs. We knew after being there just a week, we had something very special and are returning for another 4 months! The owners are wonderful people to work with too!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

This house has it all. Excellent location, plenty of room, hot tub, pool and a very attentive owner. A lot of thought has been given to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. The vegetation in the yard and around the pool area creates a tropical feel. We had such a great time & felt right at home that I see myself coming back next year. 5 star rating.

Relax, Relax, Relax!!!! This is the place to do just that. I felt like I was at a Resort-the pool in the back yard is fabulous-especially at night, the 'up-lighting' on the palms is gorgeous. The house is spanking clean-and has everything you could possibly need or want for a great get away. Plenty of room to relax. The kitchen is outfitted better than mine at home!! My friends and I enjoyed our time here so much-both inside and outside. When we did venture out of our home away from home, we found plenty restaurants near by to try. The WeeBlew Inn, Salt Water Cafe, Ophelias are all nearby and worth a visit. This is a great place to unwind-can't wait to go back!!

This home has everything you need or want for a home away from home retreat. The house is open and airy with many places to relax both inside and out. It is immaculate and beautifully decorated! The owners have thought of everything from linens to sand toys. Relax on the deck, in the hot tub, in the pool, or in the hammock. You'll want to explore the quaint restaurants conveniently located near this home. Try Ophelia's for breakfast and Salt Water Cafe for dinner. Minutes from Nokomis beach where you can enjoy a swim in the Gulf of Mexico. It was a wonderful time and can't wait to return.

Had a wonderful "girls get- away" here-this house was fabulous-tastefully decorated, so much room, tons of places to sit and talk,read, watch tv. (three!) The kitchen and laundry room put my own to shame. The master bedroom was beautiful, as were all the others. Two clean, beautiful bathrooms. The outside shower was great!!!! Wonderful neighborhood, close to so much. LOVED Siesta Key Beach-this place is a steal. Can't wait to return, and stay longer. Thanks for a great home away from home.

We experienced a fabulous 4th of July in this perfect vacation home! The sparkling pool, refreshing outdoor shower, cozy hammock and gas grill were well utilized. The newly added indoor sound system as well as the flat screen tv's in quiet rooms, library of books and cooks kitchen were enjoyed by all. Everyone found their own "paradise" indoors or out. The fireworks display from the jetty was the best and the "Drum Circle" on the beach was fun for all. The Gulf waters were warm and inviting and the beach was shell laden and clean. The nearby dining, shopping and siteseeing were also impressive. We didn't even begin to scratch the surface of all there is to see and do in the Nokomis/Venice area. We plan on visiting again soon!

Absolutely loved the house! Everything was so inviting from the decorating to the little surprises like having chairs, coolers and an umbrella for the beach! The pool was perfect too! It was one of the most relaxing, stress free vacations I've had in years. We will most definitely be coming back in 2010. Can't wait!

Stayed here for the month of March and the first week in April. It is a marvelous place. Everything you need is provided. Decorated extremely well ... and very livable. Pool is big and warm and wonderful! Back yard was big and private. Our doberman, Mocha, so much enjoyed chasing the lizards. We always had a pleasant breeze. We really want to go back. Very secluded and large back yard pool. Very relaxing hammock and separate hot tub. We loved the serenity and peacefulness of this home. The owners' thought of everything one might need on a vacation, including free phone, high speed internet and all channel access fios tv. The home was beautifully designed and comfortable. Anyone looking for a private vacation with a family or just with a significant other will love this property

Fabulous property. Unbelievably equipped. Condition is as new. Back yard with pool and hottub completely private. Very nicely decorated. Owners have provided a tastefull and complete home for vacationing. Can't wait to return
