Crested Butte Colorado is one of the last unique , unspoiled towns in the mountain west. Downtown Crested Butte is the greatest place to visit and our house is the best place to stay. Our home offers you a newly built yet historic looking custom single family home!
Why stay in a condo or duplex when you can enjoy the luxury and privacy of our beautiful house.

Our award winning Rosy Finch house is set among glorious mature Cottonwood trees that many birds call home. We believe that we have the best location in town. We are 2 blocks from the trendy shops and world class restaurants of Elk Avenue.We are literally steps away from the free shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes between Crested Butte and the Ski Area. I Likewise if you are Nordic skiers we are 2 blocks from the Nordic Center, ice rink and sledding hill. For summer fun we are equally well situated being 2 blocks from the Center for the Arts, Town park and ball fields. Everything in the town of Crested Butte is within a few blocks, grocery and movie theater as well.

Our comfortable home is ideal for your family vacation. With beautiful wooden floors that have in floor heating our house is toasty on the coldest of nights. The downstairs has three bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a private bathroom with a large soaking tub. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom, one has a queen bed and the other has bunk beds.

The upstairs has a bed/den with trundle beds that closes off to the rest of the upstairs. The living area is upstairs to take advantage of our amazing views through our 28 windows. Upstairs as well is our beautifully appointed kitchen,a dream to cook in. We have calphalon cookware, new dishes, every imaginable appliance and because we spend a great deal of time in the house you will always find a well stocked pantry to share with you.

The washer and dryer are in the basement. Here too you will find the jogging stroller, pac-n- play and high chair. For outdoor fun we also have sleds, bikes, and a radio flyer wagon

After a great day outdoors you can return to our wonderful home and feel at home. Two new flat screen TVs one on each level for your viewing pleasure. Previous guests have all enjoyed the comfort and beauty of our home. Step out on the balcony and enjoy Mt. Emmons to the west, the Elk Mountains to the north and Mt. Crested Butte to the east.

Our front and back yards add another fabulous dimension to our house. Set in the trees you can enjoy a grassy lawn and beautiful new deck
in the back yard. Here is where you can relax in the hammock, grill some great meals and sit out and eat in a most spectacular setting. The entire

backyard is enclosed by a complete high wooden fence. The fence is ideal for the safety of the children and family dogs and affords some nice privacy.
The front of the house has a gorgeous deck set among lush landscaping as well as a terrific sitting porch. In addition, the upstairs deck is a beautiful ares to sit, read and contemplate the gorgeous views. Whether it is a family barbeque, a nap in the hammock or a game of catch with the kids, these landscaped and comfortable yards will add to the enjoyment of a Crested Butte vacation.

We know you will love our home as we always have. We will even invite the family dog, no cats please. We have a house filled with games, puzzles and books. Come and enjoy an amazing place.

  • We are called the Rosy Finch House because we have active bird feeders and the trees surrounding the house often host wintering flocks of Rosy Finches. Summer brings the Hummingbirds, and last summer our bird house hosted a family of Mountain Chickadees.

arranged as well. 50% deposit required to hold reservation. Cleaning fee for stays
shorter than 5 days. Fall Specials $225.00 per night,Fall special stay

  • We had a fabulous stay at the Rosy Finch house in CB. The location of this home is just FABULOUS! Just 2 blocks from main street, it's so great to just be able to walk out the door to the center of town. The home was lovely and so clean! Since I was there with my family and my infant, cleanliness is very important to me and the owners do a wonderful job taking such good care of their home. They also had a pack-n-play, high chair, stroller etc. We had the most fabulous visit and truly loved this home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

  • We stayed in the RF house during New Year's week and had a wonderful vacation. Downtown CB is truly a charming place. The skiing was superb too. The restaurants, stores, and shuttle bus stop were all within a close walking distance. We never drove the car for a week! The house was very comfortable, well decorated, and had plenty of room to accommodate a family of four. The heated floors and spacious kitchen were great too! The kids really enjoyed feeding the finches in the front yard every morning. The owners were very, very nice and really went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. We can't wait to go back to the RF house!
