This home is the perfect vacation getaway for families or couples who want a private, relaxing, mountain vacation. We brought our family of 6 and enjoyed how clean and spacious the home was kept, and the little details like the chocolates on the counter when we arrived. You have everything you need or expect in a furnished home: linens, dishes, cookware. Even many food basics that I brought in small portions but wouldn't have needed to (salt, sugar, etc.). The hot tub in the back was wonderful--the best part of all was relaxing in the hot tub while looking at the stars shine brighter than I've even seen them. Just an FYI: In spite of being very hydrated, all the girls in our family got altitude sickness pretty bad within 2 hours of arriving. I would recommend doing some research before heading all the way up to Leadville. At least have some of the over-the-counter medicines or home remedies on hand just in case. This house was a delight and we enjoyed it completely!

Very nice place. Lots of room relax. The hot tub is great after a day of skiing. All the comforts of home. Ours was a winter visit, but in warmer weather the large deck would be perfect for relaxing in the evening. Good kitchen, easy to prepare meals for at least as many people as can sleep here. The house was very clean and well maintained. PLENTY of towels are provided.

We had a great time in Leadville. We stayed at Property 209968 because of all the good reviews and it did not disappoint. We had everything we needed. We had a great time at Ski Cooper and the kids loved coming home to soak in the hot tub. We had plenty of room and the house was decorated so well. We also went sledding twice and the kids loved the great run in Leadville. Our only disappointment was a chinese place downtown where the food was cold, and we were overcharged, and the lady added a huge tip onto our bill herself. We also ate at the Tennessee Pass Cafe and it was very good.

We have been coming to Leadville for years and have now found the perfect place to stay. This well kept property has fantastic views in a quiet neighbothood. The owners are very easy to contact and responsive to your needs. The house feels like your own home as soon as you walk in, I don't think you can find better lodging/ammenaties in the area.

Stayed here for a weekend and wished we could have stayed longer! The house is as described; well maintained and very clean. Great location as well, only a 5 minute walk to the downtown district. The hot tub was a nice retreat after running the Leadville trail half marathon.

We visited Leadville mid-January for a winter sports weekend - downhill at Copper and Cooper, snowshoeing in the Leadville surrounds. The house was very comfortable for our part of 7. We liked the fully equipped kitchen, and the hot tub helped us soak off the soreness in the evening. House is handy to downtown - just about 6 blocks west, so easy to get back and forth. There is no real master suite, which was actually a benefit for a party of friends, because the three bedrooms were almost identical and there was nothing to fight over. There is a public bus from Leadville to Copper Mountain. We didn't use it because the five of us could squeeze into one car after all, but it was handy to know it was there. Everyone in the party liked the stay, and said that they would go back again.

This was our 2nd year in a row to stay at this vacation house while we went skiing. This house is cozy and has a nice private jacuzzi off of a large deck in a fenced in backyard. The beds are comfortable and the living room has a fireplace and overstuffed couches. We enjoyed playing games on the dining table at night and just relaxing in a warm atmosphere with an amazing view of the mountains. Thanks Pam for always making sure our stay is enjoyable! We have so enjoyed staying in your beautiful house, your trust and flexibility have restored our faith in human nature! A wonderfully equipped and comfortable house with all amenities. We particularly appreciated the "boot" room, so useful for ski boots and coats after a long day skiing and the hot tub was a special treat at the end of the day. All linens and towels provided, meaning we didn't have to bring much with us from home. Very close to restaurants in down town Leadville and only a 15 minute drive to the wonderful Ski Cooper. Many thanks from Family King

We recently stayed in this immaculate, well stocked home. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The owner is very nice, warm and laid back. It was apparent her number one goal was to ensure we had a great stay. If you have a reason to be in Leadville, I highly recommend staying in this nice home.

Our group of 3 adult couples and two children were very comfortable in this 3 bedroom house. The queen beds had great mattresses that allowed us to wake up rested and painfree. The sleeper sofa was fine for our children, and the house was well-stocked. You couldn't ask for a better location for the Leadville 100 Trail Run, since the house was close to the start of the race and walking distance to downtown. There are actually 1 full bathroom and one with a shower, which worked out well with three runners needing to get cleaned up at the same time. The jacuzzi was nice, and the scenery from every side of the house was stunning. Best of all, the owners were fantastic to work with, graciously accommodating our needs wherever they could. We'll be sure to check if this house is available whenever we are in Leadville again! Thank you for your hospitality!!

I would highly recommend Mountain Peaks as a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay in Leadville. The house is very cozy and well equipped with everything you might want and the owners are very pleasant to work with. Our family felt right at home from the moment we walked in the door. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and the location made it easy for each of us to come and go as we pleased. The house was so comfortable we didn't even mind staying in to watch the thunderstorms from the window seat each afternoon. Thanks for the great vacation accommodations!

We stayed here as part of a weekend visit to Leadville, Aspen and Glenwood with friends who were visiting from France. We were in the perfect location to go to the Leadville Rodeo - just a few blocks away - and took a nice walk into the town too. The house was fabulously equipped for our stay with nice "extras" (condiments, paper goods, foil etc.) and we so appreciated the delicious Lindt truffles that were left for us to enjoy by the owners :) After a long day, we relaxed in the hot tub before a family dinner around the table. The accommodations were excellent and we truly felt like we were in a home away from home! Thanks so much for making our stay in Leadville so comfortable!

This home was way more than we expected. It was very nice. We loved the attention to detail. There were so many extras we didn't expect like basic pantry items (sugar, flour, oil), plenty of big plush towels, Wi-fi, games and books, laundry and dish soap, etc. It had EVERYTHING we needed and then some! It slept two families comfortably, 4 adults and 4 children. We will be back!

We stayed here during the Leadville 100 Trail race. It is fantastic. Very well stocked, plenty of towels. Nice living room area and dining table. Great back yard with hot tub. Downtown is within walking distance. We bought most of our food at the local grocery and cooked at the house. Great time, look forward to going back.

If you want to feel totally at home in Leadville, this is the place to stay. There was plenty of room, nice furnishings - the dining room table easily seats 8 - and a well stocked kitchen. We made most of our meals there but High Mountain Pies for pizza is not to be missed. Our group did a lot of hiking, some even ran a 10K race, so the hot tub was perfect for aching muscles. The Arvidsons are very easy to communicate with and make sure their guests are comfortable in every way. We definitely want to stay in their Mountain Peaks Retreat again.

Thanks for a wonderful stay, Cindy

This mountain "get-away" is wonderful. Not only is it warm, welcoming, and well-located, but it provides everything you could possibly want/need for a home-away-from-home experience. We were able to access multiple ski resorts in the area and I particularly appreciated the well furnished kitchen where we could make dinner in the evenings. The hot tub in the back is just the icing on the cake!!

We absolutely loved staying at this rental in lovely Leadville, Colorado! From the moment we arrived it felt like home. Everything was spotless inside the home, and the hot tub was so appreciated after a day of skiing. Leadville is a great base for the nearby ski resorts. We had so much fun in town in the evenings- great food at Rosie's Brewpub and a great time at the Silver Dollar Saloon. Leadville is a colorful town that feels like authentic Colorado. I wouldn't have changed anything about our trip and can't wait to come back! Thanks so much for our wonderful stay! Laura
