Newly remodeled corner condo in the prestigious Key Allegro community of Rockport. New kitchen, new furnishings, new electronics, new ceiling fans, and a new outlook on island life. You will be able to look out on the water from every window. A canal and Key Allegro Marina are behind you, and just across the street is Little Bay. This condo is ideally situated for a relaxing time.
Start with coffee in the morning on the deck as you watch the boats head out to fish. The birds are calling you and the water is shimmering. What a great way to start the day.
Or go fish! Less than ten steps from your back deck you can park your boat, ready for that early morning trek into some of the best fishing along the Texas Coast. Call me and I'll tell you where they were last week. And in the evening when you return, the fresh water wash down is right there. You'll be cooking fish in no time on the grill that is there for you.
Inside, there is ample room for your crew. There is a king bed in the master bedroom that opens onto the deck and looks out over the water. Or watch TV on the flat screen wall mounted TVs in the living room and master bedroom. . The second bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds for your older spry children, and yes there is a TV in there as well, but who's counting?
The kitchen was recently enlarged and boasts one of the largest kitchens in the complex, with Silestone counter tops, beaded board cabinets, and a big pantry. The large farmer style sink really helps with managing a large dinner party and the adjacent eating bar gives you additional seating for guests. A rollaround minibar is in the dining area so you can keep your adult beverages in place while you prepare that big meal.
The washer, dryer, and refrigerator were updated in September "09. Granite vanity tops in both bathrooms. New carpet and simulated wood plank flooring. All new paint and new colors bring the living space to life! Oh , and the air conditioner was replaced in '09 as well so don't worry about staying cool. A chest freezer was added in 2011 making it all the more convenient for storing up to four 20# bags of ice.
The tennis court has been resurfaced and has a new net, and you'll find the racquets and balls in the closet. The swimming pool area has been updated as well. Feel free to use the pool floats in closet as well.
It's hard to pick my favorite place in the condo, so I go outside. The deck is the place!! The huge deck overlooking the marina and out onto Little Bay is a perfect place to relax at sunset--my favorite time of day. But the morning coffee on the deck is quite nice too. There's a grass yard next to you for extra seating or lawn games, and the dock and pier just below you have been rebuilt, bigger, and wider. This is the place you will want to come back to, again and again.

- Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront. Ask for details : Canal directly behind the condo takes you out into Little Bay. Sit on the deck as the boats go by. New wide dock adjacent to boat slip. View of marina, million dollar boats,and open water across to the mainland.
- Water View : From the front bedroom and the kitchen you can see the bay across the street. So there's literally water views out of every window with the canal, marina, and bay opening behind you and the bay across the street.

Why the Owner Chose Rockport
There's a saying that Rockport is a quiet little drinking town with a fishing problem. It's really much more than that. There's the nautical flea market, Seafair, Oysterfest, The Arts Festival, and the Texas Wine Festival to name a few. There's Rockport Beach, the shops lining Main street, or the restaurants (lots of restaurants), the history, the wildlife and the birds, and of course the water. There's nothing like being next to the water. The shimmer of lights, the porpoises in the canals, the boats going by, are all so relaxing. We have been vacationing in Rockport for more than 40 years and it never gets old. What a great little place here on the Texas coast.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We love early morning walks along Aransas Bay and Little Bay, the waters around Key Allegro Island. You'll see plenty of people out as well. Then during the day and evening, it's less than 2 miles back to the shops in downtown Rockport, or 2 minutes the other way to the restaurants in the harbor area of Fulton. Or maybe we just stay at home, pull the chairs down on the dock and watch the sun set over the water. You can do as little or as much as you like, and still have a ball.
About five miles across to the east along the back side of St. Joseph's Island is good fishing. Wade or stay in boat.
Ski Basin. Launch at Rockport Beach. Fish along drop offs in morning or late evening. Or fish jetties going out into bay. If you are pulling skiers or tubers, stay between island and white posts. Othe
Texas's only Blue Wave Beach. Great place for the little ones as it is shallow for a ways out from shore with smaller waves than the gulf. Well maintained beach and closest boat ramp to condo.

Ship's store Tropical Keys Restaurant On the water fuel (middle grade gasoline about 70 cents more per gallon than regular; also diesel), one of the better prices for on-the-water fuel.

An old fireman and school teacher who love to fish. We are blessed with 3 boys, their wives and 3 grandkids, and a daughter. Everyone who can walk can fish. . Since we're all hooked on fishing, we spend a lot of our time cruising the bays and flats. From Curt's Cut to Yucca Cut and Mud Island to St. Joe's Island, there's never a bad day on the water. And in the evenings, when fish are frying and the family is all there--well, it just doesn't get any better than that.

This condo exceeded all of our expectations. It had been totally redone and the decor was amazing. We wi be back.
