We had the pleasure of staying at this BEAUTIFUL rental for 8 nights. The unit is very spacious, well-appointed, GREAT VIEWS and is in excellent condition.The beach was so close (100 feet away) and quiet it felt like it was our private area. From the dining room and family room you could look right and see the sunrise and left to see it set! My only comment is that the pictures on your website do not do your home justice! Having use of the Ritz Carlton's facilities was also a highlight! the spa was great and there were plenty of restaurants very nearby. The family enjoyed the snorkeling, seeing whales from your deck and the wonderful hiking paths. We have told several of our friends and family members about your home and I am sure that some will call - I know we will be back for sure!

Absolutely STUNNING penthouse!! Everything was better than described in the listing description and pictures just don't do justice to the incredible panoramic views. Patty's recommendations for restaurants and things to do were spot on and extremely helpful. This was probably our best vacation ever and we didn't want to leave. Thanks again for sharing your awesome home in paradise..... we'll be back!!

This villa was beyond our expectations. Positioned upon the closest point to the ocean, the more-than 180 degree views from the sitting room and upstairs master suite are nothing less than spectacular. An absolute home from home for the discerning guest, the villa is appointed with high-end finishes and every comfort has been thought of. What a find: forget staying at the Ritz: there is only one place our family wants to stay in Kapalua from now on!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We are two adult couples and had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home. This was our third stay at Kapalua and we all agree this was our best. Patty and Rick were most accommodating to all our needs. The villa has everything you would possibly need during your stay. Beautiful furnishings, well appointed kitchen, and of course, how can you not say something about the spectacular view! Everything listed in their description is right on. If you've never stayed in Maui and don't know where to start, just check out their helpful literature. Where to eat, what to do, shopping, you name it, you have quite a guide to help you make the most of your vacation. The best of all the Kapalua Bay Villas...

We have stayed at several of the privately owned Bay Villas, and this unit, by far and away is the most beautiful! The photos on the VRBO listing are absolutely accurate in terms of the furnishings, the amazing views, the quality of the bed linens, and everything else shown. It is like staying in a five star hotel, except you also have the privacy and convenience of 2 bedrooms and 3 baths on two levels. The daily maid service is wonderful! And the oceanfront location of this unit is as close to the water as you can get, with easy access to the uncrowded beach and several swimming pools in the Bay Villas. We will always want to return to this beautiful condo whenever we travel to Maui.

We had a wonderful time in Maui, and the penthouse at Kapulua Bay Villas was beautiful! In addition to the decor, and beautiful views, the daily housekeeping, and charging privledges at the Ritz Carlton, and many other area restaurants made relaxing and truly enjoying our vacation that much easier! Patty's recommendations for eateries, and siteseeing excursions were very helpful, in that there are so many things to choose from! In Kapalua, eating at Sansei is an absolute must do! The Plantation Inn, Merriman's, Pineapple Grill, and breakfast from Honolua store were also favorites! Snorkeling at Kapalua Bay was hard to beat! There are also too many other restaurants, beaches, and outfitters ready to take you on just about any type of Maui adventure, for me to mention! All of which are just a short drive away. We would not only recommend the Penthouse at Kapalua Bay Villas, but will hopefully be able to return soon!

Jaw-Dropping Ocean Views!!!!

The view from this villa was nothing short of spectacular. In fact, from the moment you stepped in the unit it was a 180 degrees of panoramic vistas of the deep blue ocean, sunsets over Molokai, beautiful beaches, whale and turtle watching and the signature 5th hole at the Kapalua Bay Course. The view from the master bedroom upstairs matched the view downstairs. The unit was spacious and well appointed and within walking distance to two four-star restaurants(Merriman's & Pineapple Grill). We also enjoyed the fact that the Kapalua community was friendly and less crowded than other Maui areas. Great golf. Of all the quality places we've stayed on Maui over the last 12 years, this is number 1.

Not having used VRBO previously, there was some apprehension. However, this was quickly dispelled when after arriving after sunset we walked through the door into marvelous accommadations which exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and every need was met and amenity available. Our excitement was even more heightened when the next morning revealed a view beyond description! From surfers and whales below, gorgeous blue skies above and Monoloa in the distance, we were excited beyond words. The property owners were attentive and most helpful in every way and the daily maid service superb. We would be glad to recommend the experience and this property to anyone. Allen and Carolyn

We arrived at the Kapalua Villas at night and found the interior of this villa welcoming and beautiful. Upon awakening, we were awestruck by the amount of glass exposing the incredible 180 degree view of the ocean, beach, and rocky shoreline. The second floor master suite is well appointed, and we enjoyed watching the sunrise from our king size poster bed. We sat on the balconies often to enjoy the sound of the waves. It was very helpful to have a washer and dryer available. The daily housekeeping service was great and appreciated. We walked the shore trail and boardwalk every day and especially enjoyed being within walking distance of several beaches, the new and gorgeous Kapalua Spa, and the Ritz-Carlton. We also enjoyed the easily accessible and beautiful pool areas available to the Kapalua Villas. This villa lived up to its photographs and description. Two couples vacationed in this villa together, and we all highly recommend it. The owners are attentive, responsive, and caring. We would book with them again.

We stayed at this property in June 2009 for an 11 day vacation. All we can say is that it exceeded all of our expections and every single way. The unit is beautiful and the views out of the massive windows are just incredible. Kapalau is such a beautiful area and the whole resort area is pristine. Each morning we woke up and had to pinch ourselves when we looked out of the windows because we truly had landed in paradise. The owners (Patty & Rick) were attendant to all of our needs before, during, and after our stay. All of the guests that attended our wedding commented that Kapalua was the most gorgeous place they've ever visited on the planet. We agree!!

This ocean front villa was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. The pictures can't do it justice. We have stayed at Kapalua before years ago so we were familiar with the area. This unit by far has the best view of any other villa there. It is truly steps away from the beach and water. It is a very large and spacious two-story villa with floor to ceiling windows giving you an amazing view of the ocean and the mountains from just about every corner of the villa. The owners also provide for access to the Ritz-Carlton next door with charging privileges, pool and beach privileges. The maid service was excellent and we loved having a full kitchen where we could enjoy our breakfasts and lunches in our beautiful villa with the stunning view. The owners provided a welcome basket with snacks and drinks which was an extra-special touch and there are cozy robes and slippers available for all guests. We could not have asked for a more beautiful or comfortable place to stay.

As this was our first time staying in a Villa we were apprehensive. When we arrived it was quite late and pitch black on the beach. The interior of your Villa met our every expectation but what about the view??!! Imagine our joy when we awoke to see Paradise from every window and vantage point. WOW!! What a beautiful place you have! This morning we saw whales, dolphins, turtles and rainbows.... all while enjoying breakfast in the dining area of this jaw dropping incredible Villa and location. The view is amazing!!! Two very hardworking couples totally relaxed and rejuvenated as a result of this marvelous opportunity to share your Kapalua home.
