Come and enjoy this family-friendly, tri-level, Tahoe Donner Home. The cabin is full of unforgettable views in an area that provides endless amenities. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise while you have breakfast or read the newspaper on the deck each morning. The home has approximately 2100 Square Feet of inviting living space, 4 bedrooms, open loft, 3 full bathrooms, 2 car garage.
The Laundry room and the first guest room are located on the bottom level. This bedroom has twin bunk beds, another twin bed and is adjoined by a full bathroom with shower/tub combo. It also has a separate entry door to the garage.
On the main level, the nicely equipped kitchen opens to the great room with vaulted ceilings, wood burning stove (that heats up the house really quickly), 50" new Plasma Television with a Blueray DVD Player and a beautiful large deck. There are two guests rooms on this level and one bathroom. The first guest room is set up with a queen bed, television set and is next to the bathroom. The second one has double/twin bunk beds and a twin bed, television, vcr & dvd player, perfect room for smaller children.
The master bedroom is spacious and situated on the top level, king-size bed, television and full bathroom with tub/shower combo. There is also an open loft upstairs that offers magnificent views. of Mount Rose and snow covered mountain tops in the winter time. The loft has a day bed and is a great place to relax.
This home is nicely furnished with Mountain Decor and offers some amenities like hair dryers, iron, ironing board, clock radios.
It is centrally located, lower part of Tahoe Donner, reasonable winter access. Truckee is surrounded with so many Alpine skiing resorts and Tahoe Donner has one of the nation's premier cross country centers. You will find endless snowshoeing trails starting by behind this wonderful cabin! Tahoe Donner also has its own downhill ski area, perfect for beginners or families with children and snow area for sledding! Of course bigger ski resorts are nearby: 20 minutes from Squaw, Sugar Bowl or Northstar.
The Trout Creek Center offers hot tubs, sauna, steam showers, year round lap pool, work out and weight rooms and is located about 5 minutes from the cabin.

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation at this property with guests ranging from age 2 to 72. The layout was perfect and provided great options for togetherness or quiet time. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. The house had everything we needed.. even baby gates! We discovered the new path/open space up the hill behind the house and had a great time exploring. We also spent a lot of time at the Tahoe/Donner beach and enjoyed the pool and of course rafting on the Truckee. Truckee has a great evening farmers market on Thursday's where we enjoyed great food and music! Thank you again for sharing your cabin with us!

My family and I came up Labor Day weekend to join in the Ribfest in Reno for the day. We enjoyed the house for rest of Labor Day weekend and the amenities found on the listing description on VRBO to be as indicated on the website. The house was roomy and well laid out. The house was nicely equipped with supplies and the kitchen had most of the items and utensils you would need to cook a meal for 10, (the group we had). We had many enjoyable games at the very large dinner table, and also had time to catch up on some movies. The patio was the best place to have a morning cup of coffee. Great place to stay, would stay again!

This house was perfect for our purposes. We came for a wedding. The front room was great for the bridal shower and dinner for out-of-town relatives. The cousins who lived in Truckee were able to visit their out-of-town cousins during the day and have a wonderful time together. There were a total of 11 of us. The kids were able to sleep in one room together leaving each of the three couples their own bedroom. Between the kitchen bar, large table on outdoor deck table, we were able to accommodate meals for everyone.

We rented for one week and stayed there with our in-law's family during a ski-trip. The rental property was clean and nicely maintained. The location was hard to find in the dark, would recommend using a GPS. My husband complains that the queen bed on the main level is too soft. Otherwise, overall we had a great experience staying in this lodge. We would rent it again and would recommend to family and friends.

This is a great place to stay in Donner. The house is perfect for a vacation with family or friends. The living room and deck are great for dinner gatherings. It's close to the beach. The owners are very helpful and responsive. We had a great time in this house and we'll definitely rent it again.
