This gorgeous unit is directly on the Gulf of Mexico's sparking white beach! This one bedroom, one bath Westwinds Condo is in a great location on the 8th floor in the newest rental building at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. The unit sleeps 4 comfortably with a queen size sofabed in the living room. The unit is modern and elegantly furnished. It was totally renovated in February 2008, with granite in the kitchen, all new furniture and furnishings, new window treatments, tile and paint. There is a stack washer/dryer, and all towels and linens are provided.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with its own lanai doors to overlook the Gulf of Mexico.
The living room has an HDTV mounted to the wall and a DVD player.
We offer free WI-FI as well. The spacious lanai has a full-on view of the gulf, and overlooks the secluded hot tub with an adjoining waterfall hidden away in the rocks. You can also see the private tiki bar, and very lush landscaping. Just beside the hot tub is the huge heated lagoon pool, and a kiddie pool unique to the resort. Just walk out through the walkway onto the amazing white baking powder sand beach! A new fitness center has just been added on the ground level and provides great views of the pool and Gulf! There are two parking levels, the lower is covered, and security gates assure privacy.
The resort boasts four 18-hole golf courses which now allow junior players to play at a sizable discount with their parents. Many on site restaurants on both the beach side and the bay side of the resort offer a huge variety of choices without ever having to leave the property! A Publix Grocery store, along with many other convenient stores are on site. Sacred Heart Hospital is also just 5" away in case of an Emergency.
The Village at Baytowne Wharf with its many restaurants, ropes course, new zip line, and Marina offer nightly entertainment and events which will be sure to please everyone in the family. There is a children's play area right across the walkway from Cabos's outside restaurant, so you can enjoy adult beverages while the kids play.

HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY – No refunds will be given unless:
1. The National Weather Service order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and / or
2. A mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm / Hurricane Warning area of residence of a vacationing guest.
THE DAY THAT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ORDERS A MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER in a “Tropical Storm / Hurricane Warning,” area, we will refund:
1. Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered.
2. Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten their stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted: and
3. Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the “Hurricane Warning” period

My husband and I stayed several days in this condo in late August, and were completely satisfied with our experience. Everything in the listing gives an accurate representation of the property. The location was just what we wanted: view of the Gulf, just steps to those white sandy beaches, good pool set-up and accessibility. Lynn was great to work with, and treated us with empathy and fairness when a death in the family required some last minute adjustment to our plans. We are very appreciative of that fairness. We will return to this unit, and recommend it to our family and friends.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. Views are better than photographs. Very spacious rooms and well equiped kitchen. Beach chairs and umbrellas provided. The shower pressure was fantastic.

My Wife and I stayed here for six weeks. I am not sure of which was better working with Lynn or the view of the Gulf. We had a very enjoyable time and everything was represented totally accurately. The Westwinds property is First Class facility and kept very clean and found it amazing that they heated that large pool all winter, You won’t go wrong with this unit and it is nice having someone so close to handle any need that may arise.

I booked this property for our honeymoon week and we had a great time. Lynn was great to work with, I was provided everything I needed well in advance of our trip down to Florida. The property was in great condition, very clean, and was completely as advertised. Everything in the pictures represents exactly what to expect when you arrive. We will be back next year for sure, had a great relaxing week at the beach and pool. My wife and I stayed here for a short getaway. The unit was just as described and extremely clean. It is priced very reasonable. There is no need to pay the extra fees for booking through Sandestin. Lynn was wonderful to work with and extremely helpful. We'll definitely rent this unit again!

Great unit with a great view. Perfect for a couple trying to get away for a long weekend or a weeks stay. Condo had everything we needed and was comfortable. Would rent again. Owner very easy to work with.

My wife and I got married a couple of years ago at the Sandestin Hilton and absolutely loved it, so we have been wanting to come back by ourselves and visit again. We had heard a lot of good things about the Westwinds building, as some of our relatives had stayed there during our wedding weekend. We finally got our chance a few weeks ago and had a wonderful time at Lynn's condo at Westwinds. The building and pool area are very well maintained, and the building is convenient and easy to get in and out of. The water was crystal clear and the beaches weren't too crowded at all. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at Westwinds. The condo was the perfect size for two people. The pool area is very nice and the entire complex was very clean, quiet and well maintained. It was so nice having a bar by the pool to order sandwiches and drinks during the day. The view from the condo was beautiful! The Westwinds beach area is very nice and not as crowded as other areas in sandestin. Lynn was very thorough in her directions of getting in and out of the condo and the complex. We can't wait to go back!

We just returned from a 7 night trip in this unit. The Westwinds is a gorgeous building in Sandestin. The condo was beautiful and in a great location. Our two girls (ages 5 & 8) loved the beach and pool. The Baytowne Wharf is across the street and had lots of fun activities for the kids. We would definitely rent from Lynn again. Lynn always answered my questions via phone or email and was very easy to work with. We are so glad we did not cancel our trip because of the oil spill!

We just got home from a 9 night stay in this condo. First of all, Lynn was so fantastic to deal with and she was very promt to answer my questions via email prior to our stay; and by phone when we first got there. We have been to Sandestin several times before, but never stayed in Westwinds. The building is the nicest and the pool at Westwinds is pretty much the best in Sandestin. One other thing was, that the section of beach in front of Westwinds is far less crowded than the area over in front of the beachside I & II buildings. We almost cancelled our trip due to the oil spill and the threat that it would be on the beach there. It was not at all and at the end of our trip a few tiny tar balls washed up but were clean by morning. The water was totally clear. We are SO GLAD we didnt cancel.
