We stayed in this home over the Thanksgiving holiday and had a great time! The home was well-stocked with all of the needed cookware for the holiday and the large dining room table was great for our group. We enjoyed the beautiful view of Mount Hood and the horses next-door from the main room. The beds were very comfortable.

We stayed in Hood River on the one year anniversary of our son and daughter-in-law's wedding. Yes, they came with us! It was a family affair with many adventures, river rafting, fishing and of course, wine tasting. The space at this house was great and the views from this home are unbelievable! One tiny thing, there needs to be somewhere for the master bedroom occupants to hang up clothes as the master closet is locked. We used the coat closet at the front door. There were plenty of dishes ( really nice and upscale) plenty of pots and pans, and refrigerator space. This house could literally sleep 11 people in beds! Huge! We loved staying here and would stay again if we were in Hood River for vacation again. Thank you

We enjoyed a perfect Thanksgiving Holiday with our extended family that included aunts, uncles, and cousins. Our party included two brothers and their wives and our adult children and several of their spouses and we had a blast! The younger kids did some night skiing and a 10K run in HR and we all visited one of the local wineries and a brew pub. The house is awesome with gorgeous views of Mt Hood. The kitchen is well equipped and we kept the two dishwashers busy with all of our food prep and eating. The upstairs is perfect for large groups. There's a large dining room table that seats 12 and plenty of additional seating in the living room adjacent. And everyone loved the heated floors. We were in our stocking feet all weekend.

We spent labor day weekend at "Mountain House" and had a fabulous time. It worked out great having so many bathrooms for us as we were there for a wedding in the area and we could all get ready at the same time!! The VIEWS spectacular...the stars at night!!! Loved that it was fully stocked with dishes, glassware and condiments in the great kitchen!! Thanks!!!

What a treat it was to get away to this wonderful home between hood river and mt. hood. There were about 10 of us ladies, all moms looking for some R&R. We found it there! The hiking trails were a blast, and watching the sunset from the hot tub was a treat too! The home was modern yet warm and inviting. The kitchen was great for a bunch of ladies who have fun cooking and eating, plus we could all fit at the 12 person table. Everything was clean and in great condition, and all directions for the home were easy to follow. The owners were fantastic to deal with too! Even after seeing all the wonderful photos of the home, it exceeded my expectations when I arrived. I would definitely recommend this vacation home!

We loved our stay and took full advantage of the fresh power on the mountain as well as the wineries and brewpubs in and around Hood River. The home was clean, spacious, relaxing, modern, and very functional, especially the two dishwashers for larger groups like ours. The views of Mt. Hood from the steam shower and living room were simply incredible. Overall I would highly recommend this house to future guest and hope to make a return trip in the future.
