Welcome to My Sister's Place. Have a family reunion in our updated multi-generational home. We are 120 miles from Chicago and 180 miles from Detroit. Relax on the deck with a fire pit. An outdoor shower to wash away the days sand is available.
Take in the days with a short walk to the beautiful south beach, enjoy a stroll down the pier, collect beach glass, or build sand castles with your family. As the day ends raise your glasses & spirits as you take in the awesome sunset only mother nature can provide. You will feel like you are a world away.
Memories will be created, and fun will be had. We are walking distance to town or enjoy a bicycle ride. Shopping, antiquing, golf, and fine dining will add to your grand experience. The friendly and quaint small town is awaiting you.
Just turn the corner from our house and you will enjoy Kids Corner Park, at the end of the park you will see the blue stairs inviting you to the glorious beach and waters of Lake Michigan. It's a short 1.5 blocks from our front porch.
Enjoy the live music in the evening at the harbor only 7 blocks from our home. Take a lovely evening stroll or bike ride into town with the many we have available.
Go to town for the farmers market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Taste the freshest fruit, herbs,and vegtables. Enjoy & support the many local organic farmers. It's quite a delight to peruse your way through and talk with the vendors.
