Why the Owner Chose Ocean Sands, Section F
Our house in Corolla is in a beautiful area with a wide flat beach. Our home is located on a cul de sac across from the boardwalk accessing the beach. There is no public beach access here, the beach is strictly for the use of the homes in the area. There are life guards on duty in season. The neighborhood is quiet and nice to walk or bicycle through. There are shops, restaurants and activities within a short drive. The Corolla lighthouse and 4-wheel drive area are a short distance to the north.

Membership to the community pool is included - the pool is located directly behind the house.
Tennis courts are a just a short walk.

This house was perfect for myself, husband and out 3yr old son. It was a short walk to the beach pier, which was fantastic! Not having to carry a ton of beach gear over a sand dune was wonderful. Harris Teeter is very pricey, so shop Foodlion for sure. The local shops were a short drive and good for entertainment. The only downfall would be all the steps. If you are elderly or not good with stairs, this isnt for you. The side deck is a great feature to drink your morning joe and watch the waves. The house has a few dings and dents in the walls but overall its nice. It isnt flashy, just a basic house. The pool was a short walk, and shared. I didnt like that too much, but atleast a pool is available. I'd certainly rent this house again
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

We enjoyed our time at this rental house. It is perfect distance from the beach AND shares a very nice pool that very few residents use! We had a great time--only the poor air conditioner had a hard time keeping up with the 100+ degrees outside. Thank goodness the owners have fans all around- it was perfect!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, girls getaway.
