Why the Owner Chose Little Compton
It doesn't get any better than this --- a charming house situated on an acre of land with a view of the ocean.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Peace and Quiet.... a place to truly relax and enjoy family.
Owner's Map of Little Compton
The Frank family has roots in Southern California and the East Coast... spending summer vacations in Little Compton for six years before buying this "fixer" with great potential in 1992. It is still a "work in progress." In 2010, we renovated the upstairs bath, installed a new heating/air conditioning, a new roof and new shingle siding. In 2011, we installed new heating/air downstairs. Living, dining, entry and pantry rooms have been freshly painted.

We rented this house for a week at the end of October, and were delighted with it. The area around Little Compton is charming, and even off-season there was plenty to do...wineries, lovely walks in the quiet countryside, immaculate vast lawns surrounded by old, beautiful stone walls. The house has a view of the water to the west, with great sunsets. We were more than pleased with the house...it is comfortably furnished, and feels more like visiting a friend's place than a rental. Quality linens, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are upstairs, and the main level has both a large livingroom and a large sunroom (my 85yo mother slept there comfortably, because she doesn't do stairs). The local owner's rep was fantastic to work with...she even brought us over matches, kindling, and firewood for the fireplace when a huge storm blew in! I highly recommend this rental!
