Hana is a remote Hawaiian Village nestled into the east side of Maui. Located 52 miles from Kahului connected by a historic road meandering through a tropical rain forest. Once you are in Hana you can take advantage of Hamoa Beach, one of the nicest beaches on Maui.
Other interesting sites to visit in Hana include Kipahulu National Park (Seven Sacred Pools), Waianapanapa State Park and Beach, Hana Bay, (home of Hana Canoe Club), Hana Cultural Center Museum, Hotel Hana Maui, Waioka Pond (Venus Pools) which is a favorite sea side pool with jumping rocks that test your courage located within one mile of Hale Ho'okipa.
Ho'okipa means in Hawaiian "to welcome you" which this property does. Enjoy sunrises out of the ocean and views of the Big Island of Hawai'i on clear days.

Mike, Jill & Family, Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. "Hale Ho'okipa" is a very magical place which made our visit to Hana so special. We were able to explore some of the beauty surrounding Hana but we could have used more time. Next time we will stay longer. R & P
