Welcome to our ocean side beach home on the lovely quiet vacation spot of Long Beach Island, NJ. With over 2000 sq feet of living space, our "home away from home" is ideal for anyone wishing to enjoy the beach yet keep all the comforts of home. This home features 2 bedrooms, living room, eat in kitchen and full bath on first floor, and 2 more bedrooms, full bath and a den/family room upstairs, giving you plenty of living space to spread out in.
Our home is only 6 houses (5 min walk) to the beach on a quiet street great for bikes, scooters and strollers. It is also 1 block away from a bay beach and playground ideal for young children or boating/sailing enthusiasts. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets every night while sipping cocktails or dining on the deck or patio.
Brant Beach is the quieter area of LBI, but is a short walk, bike ride or drive from shopping, entertainment and restaurants on the island. Atlantic City is a short ferry ride should you want that type of entertainment while staying on LBI. Lifeguards are on duty all summer so you can relax and enjoy the surf. Four beach badges will be provided for guests as well.

Why the Owner Chose Brant Beach
We've rented on LBI, Brant Beach area specifically, for over 15 years. We love the peace and quiet of the island, as well all the fun things to keep us busy. It's just the right pace to get away from the hussle and bussle, but not in middle of nowhere. Brant Beach is a quieter area where we have enjoyed many sunsets near the yaght club over the years.

Nice home, some things were not in great shape (screen in back door is obviously repaired numerous times as evidenced by roll of screen in garage, hose connection was leaking). Overall home was nice enough although it does corner the main street and while the side yard is fenced in, be cautious if you have small children. Short walk to the beach which wasn't bad although can be a challenge if you have a large number of people staying or a lot of stuff. One thing I suggest is to document with photos the state of the place when you arrive and when you leave. Owners did not comply with their own rental agreement which was to inform the renter of any issues within 10 business days of departing the property. I was not informed of any damage and when I inquired about the return of my deposit almost 4 weeks later, I was told that it was being withheld due to "damage." The damages we were accused of did not amount to the deposit. I had an attorney send a letter stating that the NJ statute requires return of all deposit monies since we were not informed of damages within a timely manner and certainly not according to the terms of the rental agreement. Still awaiting return, so you may want to factor that into your total rental cost.
Owner response:Future renters, we pride ourselves in providing you with a very clean, comfortable, and damage free home for your vacation. Many tenants have been very happy with the condition of the home upon arrival and during their stay, as well with the very timely return of the security deposit. In the 4 years of renting, there has never been any issue with rental agreements and there have only been two incidents where damages were reported, with one in full agreement. In fact, this year we had to have tenants evacuate for hurricane Irene, and those tenants were credited for their short stay along with their security deposit within a week.

What a great home and vacation for my children and grandchildren. convenient to everything yet on a quiet street. Close to the beach yet a wonderful view of the bay and sunsets. Plenty of outdoor dining for our large group with all the amenities you'd find at home. Thank you for a wonderful week.

What a lovely home and plenty of space for our family. Bedrooms are large and comfortable, beach is close and you don't have to cross the blvd. The playground and bay beach was great for our little ones for the time away from the beach. We hope to spend another vacation here in the future.

We have spent two summer vacations here and hope to again next year. We love your home and my famiily feels so comfortable here. It is close to beach, has all the amenities to make life here simple and is close enough to restaurants and activities without being noisy and crowded.
