My family and I go up to Mammoth at least 3 to 4 times per season, and we always rent a condo. We've stayed in condos where the experience has ranged from poor to excellent. This stay falls into the excellent category. Starting off, the owners are very responsive and provide detailed and specific (and accurate) information. The unit is very well equipped (including washer/dryer, space heaters and humidifiers) and the beds are very comfortable. The unit is not located within walking distance of Canyon Lodge; however, the gondola is a short walk away, or you can always drive up to the lodge. Thank you for a great stay.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+.

We stay in Mammoth Lakes several times a year and usually rent a condo. The location of this condo was great because we could walk to the village and restaurants. It is right on a shuttle line too. It didn't mention on the webpage that their was a weight limitation of 100 lbs for the bunkbed so my son had to sleep on the pullout sofa bed which was covered with popcorn and crumbs and wasn't comfortable at all. Booking arrangements were difficult with the owner(after I had put down a deposit) and I am still awaiting, one week later, the return of my security deposit. (we complied with all condo rules). The location and pingpong table were nice but considering how difficult payment and trying to get back my security deposit was, there are better and easier rentals out there.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.
Owner response: Unfortunately at this time my husband was deployed with the military and not readily available. And because my husband did have a full plate, he forgot to mention to me to return the deposit check. Also, we usually don't send it back (but rather destroy it) unless otherwise stated. We didn't hear about the pull out bed issue until after the tenant left, otherwise we would've called the management company immediately and had the issue corrected. We also state in the email chain contract that to please call us with any concerns you have, ie.- cleanliness of the condo, damage, things that don't work properly, etc. as soon as you notice them. This way we can correct them. We stay in touch with our management company as well as the onsite management which is extremely responsive given the chance. We always welcome feedback regarding our condo.

My friends and I loved the condo and our weekend at Mammoth. Great kitchen with everything we needed to cook breakfasts and dinners at the house. Even the little things, like salt, pepper, and some basic spices, were very helpful. There was left over coffee and sugar which was really nice on our first morning. Most places are completely cleared out, so you have to buy or bring all of that stuff. I made sure to add some more coffee to the cupboard before we left. The living room was very nice. Great flatscreen, DirecTV, and comfy couches. Loved the big wooden dining table. The bedrooms and loft were very comfortable. Easily beds for 7 (plus there may be air mattresses and/or pullouts, but we only had 5 people so we didn't look).Best of all...THE HEAT WORKED!! If you have ever rented at Mammoth, most places have terrible heat. There will be spots in condos that are blazing hot and others that are freezing cold. Or it will be hard to control the heat so it's either 100 degrees or 50 degrees. This condo was sooo much nicer. There were still warm and cold spots, but not bad and it was 100 times better than most places I've stayed. I look forward to visiting again.Did you find this review helpful? Your condo was perfect. We were able to walk to the village and take the village gondola to Canyon Lodge. The 2nd bedroom and loft was great for my kids. We can't wait for next season.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our family has stayed at this condo twice and never been disappointed. It's clean and the beds better than we have at home. It's a wonderful central point to stay and it's nice to come back to each evening. The owners are so wonderful and wonderful in responding to questions or concerns. We highly recommend a stay at this home away from home condo.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

What can I say; this condo was immaculate! Myself, along with two of my buddies came up to Mammoth for a long weekend to do some mountain biking. Having stayed in many condos in Mammoth, this one is by far the nicest to date. This condo could easily fit 6+ people comfortably. Additionally, between the hot tub/recreation facilities next door, the monster flat screen television with satellite or the abundance of games, there is something for everyone in this condo. This condo has been very well taken care of and that’s a direct reflection on the owners. I look forward to future rentals in both the winter and summer.Did you find this review helpful? Had a great time in Mammoth, and the condo was perfect for my family with ample room and good accommodations. Within walking distance to The Village for food, drinks, or bike rentals. Very comfortable and relaxing, and will definitely recommend as well as stay there again. Plenty for kids to do in Mammoth, they loved it, and only 1 hour drive to the East entrance to Yosemite, a must do if you go. I wish I were there right now!Did you find this review helpful?
