Why the Owner Chose Garden City Beach
We bought a home in this location because all of my family from my Grand parents down have always vacationed at Garden City. It is never to crowded, the beaches are always clean and the food is fantastic. There is no other place that my family and I would rather be then Garden City
The Unique Benefits at this House
Home has access to both the beach and the inlet, House is situated at the best part of Garden City. Within walking distance of Marina and Pier. Floating dock for boat usage. Inlet is deep enough at low tide to allow usage of a boat at low and high tide. Unbelieveable views of the inlet and marsh lands. Always a great breeze.

My family and I have been visiting Garden City for summer vacations from the time I was born and many years before. I have tried to provide the same for my family. Some of the greatest memories I have are crabbing,shrimping and mud fights at Garden City. I have always loved the inlet and am so thankful that our home offers the best of the inlet and the beach. To see my kids experiencing the same joy that I did is what life is all about. I am so thankful that my Father and Mother loved the Garden City area and wanted there family to experience it to. By the way I am the old man in the picture with my oldest son graduating from 6th grade.

We stayed here for 3 years all in August. We loved the location and the house offered everything we could need. There are 2 "sides" of the house so yes it is a duplex. We never heard any of the neighbors unless we were outside. We had 2 bathtubs in our rental. The dock is shared but it's not a problem as long as you are willing to communicate with the other renter. We don't bring a boat but we do like to fish off the dock so we just ask that the boat parks on the side. We have never had a problem. The great part about this house is its proximity to the beach access. It's right across the street which is very convenient. I personally love staying in Garden City. It's close enough to drive to everything and far enough away from the crowds. I would totally recommend renting this unit.

Great location but not a single family home

The location of this house is wonderful - just off the beach and right across from the beach access walkway. The balconies are big and shaded. Renters should understand that this is not a single family home. It is considered a "twin" meaning that the house is divided into two equal parts attached at one corner. One side faces the street/ ocean and the other faces the inlet. Our bedroom was next to the adjoining house and we could hear our neighbors going up and down the stairs and closing their front door. We could even hear them sweeping the kitchen floor. Fortunately, we could not hear them talking or their TV. There are two pools in the back separated by a white picket fence that does not provide privacy. There is only one dock for both houses. Also, note that there are no bathtubs in the house. Otherwise, a nice home with wonderful views in a peaceful part of Murrels Inlet.
