Our two bedroom, two bath condominium is located at Silverado II in the Town of Winter Park. Our unit sleeps seven with a queen bed, two twin beds, and a queen sleeper sofa. After a full day of activities, enjoy the new 37 inch flat screen TV and DVD player, relax in front of the cozy wood burning fireplace, or enjoy the spectacular views of Byers Peak from the living room.
Our unit also contains new furniture and a fully stocked kitchen with new granite countertops. And if you need to go online, our Condo is equipped with FREE WIRELESS INTERNET. This Condo provides exceptional value at an affordable price.
Silverado II is a serene, centrally located condominium complex in Winter Park. With a $500,000 remodel in 2003 the complex offers several attractive amenities, including an onsite restaurant and bar, indoor pool, two hot tubs, a sauna, exercise room, game room, laundry room and an underground PARKING GARAGE, which is ideal during the winter. The on-site ski shop offers the best prices in town!
Winter Park Resort has some of the best skiing in Colorado with an average snowfall of 370 inches per year. It offers two mountains, Winter Park and Mary Jane, with two distinct experiences for the price of one. Winter Park is renowned as a family oriented mountain with some great terrain parks while Mary Jane offers world class bump, bowl and tree skiing.
To get you to the mountain take the free shuttle bus, which stops right in front of the lobby every 30 minutes, or drive to the ski area, which is just five minutes away by car. Other nearby winter activities include: tubing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, skating and snowshoeing.
In the summer enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park, music festivals, Grand Lake, four championship golf courses, world class mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding. Also in the summer Winter Park Resort hosts a variety of family activities, including an Alpine slide, chairlift rides, miniature golf, a human maze, and more. The listing description was accurate regarding the location. Google Maps could not find the address, but MapQuest did find it. The photos accurately reflected the rental's appearance and amenities. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner was very helpful in answering questions and providing necessary information. Nearby (within five minutes driving), we ate at Randi's Irish Pub & Grill, Fontenots Seafood & Grill, and Carver's Bakery Cafe. All are excellent choices. I would recommend this property to a friend/relative and would definitely consider coming back here.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
