Spacious, newly furnished apartment sitting right above Europe’s most stunning central square. Whether it’s a trot around the Market Square or a visit to the City’s celebrated, Medieval Cathedral, everything is no more than a hundred yards from our front door!
But, situated on the fourth floor within an historic bank building, facing away from the Square, the apartment offers amazingly peaceful accommodation - with the best of Krakow’s attractions and nightlife just a lift-ride away.
As well as being seconds from the city centre, it's just a 10 min walk to the Wawel Castle, and a 15 min walk (or 10 min taxi ride) to Kazimierz, the Jewish District, where Stephen Spielberg directed large parts of Schindler's List. The nearby train and bus stations can deliver you to the site of the Auschwitz concentration camp, and Wieliczka salt mine - both extraordinary and historic World Heritage Sites, and beautifully preserved. We can also give you details of private or commercial tours for those.
The apartment has been recently renovated to a high standard - a mixture of modern design with classic charm, provided by traditional art deco furniture, perfectly in keeping with the apartment’s history. Its spacious rooms (two discreet bedrooms as well as the main kitchen-diner), two bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen make it well adapted to parties of up to seven, although probably most ideal for a family or two couples. The main bedroom has a huge and dazzling bay-window that catches the morning sunshine, as well as its own en-suite toilet and shower.
Children are of course very welcome, but no pets please. The apartment is fully accessible to wheelchairs. The entrance to the flat includes a small, private east-facing balcony area.
Krakow Valley Golf Club is approximately 45 min drive from the apartment. It has an 18-hole golf course, riding stables and its own shooting range.
If you're into winter sports, Zakopane - Poland's leading ski resort in the Tatra Mountains - is only 70 miles away. Excellent skiing facilities during the winter months and great walking in the summer.
Balice - Krakow's airport is served by Ryanair, Skyeurope, Easyjet, LOT and British Airways. A taxi from the airport to the apartment takes roughly 30 minutes. The charge is approx 75 zlotys (£18), but allow more on weekends and at night. You could also take a train to Balice from the Krakow Central station.
You are within 5 minutes walk of most of Krakow's finest restaurants. Local shops on the Square provide basic groceries, fine wines, a pharmacy and cafes, ice cream and much more. There are a number of ATMS within yards of the front door, as well as a cinema, and a nightclub. It's a 10 minute walk to Galeria Krakowska - the city's leading shopping centre.

Why the Owner Chose Krakow (Cracow)
Ever since Anna came to the UK in the 1980s, she's wanted a place of her own back in her native Poland. This is a dream spot, right at the heart of Poland's most amazing city, and what we love is stepping out straight onto the square, and just trawling through the fantastic stalls they have there or popping into one of the range of great restaurants littered around the centre. Our favourite time there has to be the heart of winter, when it's just been snowing. The light against those huge elegant buildings is pure magic. Otherwise stay indoors and gaze out across the rooftops of the Old Town. Up on the fourth floor, the apartment is almost eerily peaceful even at the height of the holidays, and big enough for our whole family to sprawl.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
There's simply no better location in town. You step out of the apartment and you're right in the middle of the Market Square. Apart from the central square, the best walk for us is down from the main square through Grodzka and Poland's oldest street, Kanonicza, to reach the castle. Having gazed over the ramparts, just keep going down to the old Jewish quarter in Kazimierz and lose yourself in all the amazing back streets and junk shops there.

"My familly found this apartment ideal for our group. Spacious rooms, comfortable bedding, both bathrooms up to date. We had 7 in our party and the apartment very comfortably accomodated all of us. Overall just perfect. The location is absolutely ideal. Just steps from the square. So much of what we wanted to do was within walking distance. We had traveled via car from Warsaw, so they were helpful in finding us a safe and affordable car park. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Krakow. "

"The communications from Ed and Anna were very helpful and reassuring. Our Easyjet flight was delayed by two hours but mobile phone contact with Andrzej ensured that we were still met at the airport by a namecard wielding taxi driver. This was our first visit to Krakow, which was an amazing discovery for us -economic eating out if you need it, friendly people everywhere (mostly English speaking), jazz clubs nearby and lots of 'street entertainment' in the square. Castle, art galleries, churches, tree lined avenue walks, botanical garden etc. Auschwitz and the Salt Mines were memorable in their different ways and easily reached by public transport. We are already hoping to visit again."

Just wanted to say what a great time we had in Krakow. Both Apartments were excellent and the arrangements with Taxi pickups etc could not have been smoother. To add to the overall enjoyment, we had a three day window of outstandingly good weather. I would have no hesitation in recommending you to any family or friends wishing to visit Krakow in the future
