    We had our first (of many we hope) family reunion at this home 6 kids and 8 adults and it was perfect. We felt like we had our own private beach. The kids spent hours playing in the surf and climbing on the rocks. The home absorbed us all so well and the basement with ping pong, big screen tv, pool table and many games was great fun in the mornings while we waited for the sun to warm the beach. Highly recommend this property - the owner made it feel like our own home. It was immaculate when we arrived and better than expected. Also recommend a fishing trip out of Brookings and a jet boat trip on the Rogue.

    My husband and I met our three married children, and all their children for a lovely week in Brookings. The setting of this home is fabulous, and the accomodations were excellent...if anything, MORE than we would have expected. Everything was perfectly appointed, immaculate and thoughtfully arranged....from spices in the kitchen cabinets, to boots in the garage (had we wanted them at the water) to toys, games, videos, books and even an assortment of toiletries in the numerous bathrooms! Would love to stay there again...And all the generations agreed!

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

    This place was perfect for our family. We had kids of all ages there and they were all entertained. House setup was great for our large group. The owners were way easy to work with and friendly. The beach was nice. I loved that we were so close. I would stay here again and highly recommend this house!

    We , all usred hatter's had a great time. What a great home. Views were great. The only thing I saw the house could use is safety bar by one tolit for the handicapped. this was my second trip. Hope to be back next year.

    What a wonderful place for a girls get-away weekend. We had a blast! The house, view, hot tub, beach, and location were perfect. Everyone wants to come back next year. The owners and caretakers are very responsive and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and take care of us.

    It is a wonderful home. We really enjoyed the size and the comfort of the rooms and home. Did not feel crowded with 17 people. Enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen and eating together around the large table. Everyone like the private like beach and the awesome views!

    Had a fantastic time in Brookings! There is so much to do hiking,kayacking,checking out the tide pools, beach combing, fishing, and relaxing. Loved the short drive to the redwoods.Thanks for everything!

    "Thank you so much for the use of your home. We were able to bring 6 generations together for our Mother and Fathers 90th Birthdays. It was perfect! Hope to come again". The parents said " What a wonderful place for the kids to have planned our 90th birthday party. Everything was Great! Thank you for the bottle of champagne".

    Loved our time here. Everything from the welcome chocolate on the pillows, sunsets on the beach,tidepool exploration(love the starfish) and the great crabfeast we had. We will be back in July for our family reunion. Great home!!Thank you for a truly memorable time!
