Our condominium has one bedroom and one bath. It is a ski in and ski out resort. If you don’t feel like skiing down to the base, Iron Horse offers a free shuttle. The unit sleeps up to six with a king bed, a full sleeper sofa and a queen Murphy bed. We are one of the only units with a new king size bed in the back room. We are on the first floor with easy access to the workout facilities, the pool, the hot tubs and saunas. Our condominium is among the nicest and best equipped one bedroom units at the Iron Horse Resort.
When you are not out enjoying winter park, the condo has a flat screen television which you can watch a DVD, on demand, or the many channels provided including HBO. For a quieter evening you can curl up by the electric fireplace or sit on the patio and admire the view. The kitchen and the bathroom were remodeled last year with granted countertops and fixtures. There is also free wireless internet access in the condo. We try to price rentals of our unit well below the resort's standard rate. This allows you to benefit by renting directly from the owner.

Year Purchased: 1984
My family has owned this property since 1984. We have always had Iron Horse rent out the condo for us, but last year we wanted to rent it ourselves. As a family, we really enjoy skiing and spending time in front of the fireplace playing games. In the summer we enjoy the activities, music and a chance to relax. The condo has become a staple in our family and we are happy to share it with others. We hope that your family can walk away with many memories to share for years to come.
Why the Owner Chose Iron Horse
My Dad has always been an avid skier. He fell in love with Winter Park and wanted a place of his own. My parents soon after bought the condo and the rest is history!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
One of the reasons we love Iron Horse is for the ski in and ski out access to the slopes. It has saved our family money to be able to come to the condo warm up and grab some lunch. With the younger children we also have access to the shuttle and that helps get the kids to the slopes. It has been nice having the rental shop on sight to help visitors get the equipment they need without worrying about transporting it. We also love the access to all the facilities Iron Horse has to offer. The summer has offered us many memories as well. The pool, trails, and quick trips to town have kept our family happy and coming back for more each year.

Enjoyed our stay at the condo. We are a family of four, 2 daughters 7 &10. The condo was clean, big enough and had a most comfortable bed. The location was excellent, covered parking, ski-in ski-out, ski shop and restaurant just made everything simple. The owners were great to deal with. Highly recommended.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

A perfect place to stay for those who love the mountains. Easy access to both the slopes as well as the pool and hot tubs. Very clean and cozy. We will definitely try to secure this unit for our next ski trip !!!

A+++ condo! Excellent condo in the perfect location in Winter Park. One of the few true ski in / out condos at Winter Park. We had an excellent stay here - both the king size bed and murphy bed are extremely comfortable for a rental unit. The king bed is especially nice - it's definitely a high end mattress. Well decorated throughout. We really appreciated the kitchen with lots of basics supplied already. Ample supply of towels, blankets, etc. Owners are extremely friendly and easy to work with. p.s. Be sure to rent your skis from the ski shop in the condo - very convenient.

Our choice to stay here proved to be a good on. The condo has some nice upgrades like granite counters that give it a richer feel. The kitchen was well equipped with things you'd expect to find in an owners vacation home as opposed to a stripped out rental. The presence of spices, cooking oil, soaps, shampoos, paper towels, a blender and lots of towels and pillows increased our comfort level substantially. The location so close to the lobby allowed for the convenience of the guest internet computer and the pool just a quick walk down the hall. The owner was very pleasant to deal with. Thanks so much!!

Very nice condo! The ski in/out feature was great as well as the covered parking and not having to dig the car out when taking a trip to town. Also, the king bed was the most comfortable I've slept on in years. Thanks for everything, we had a great vacation.

Si in/ski out as great--especially with the ski valet service that the condo has; no dragging skis in and out. The condo itself was perfect for our family of four had everything we needed and is very cozy. Most importantly the owners were very easy to work with and exceedingly helpful. We will definitely be back!!!
