Snowshoe was a good central location for our extended family of twenty to get together for Thanksgiving, and Seize the Moment was a perfect venue. It was large enough so that we could spread out and not feel cramped, and comfortably slept all 20 of us without needing the pull-outs. Having two kitchens for cooking dinners was a plus, too. The home is across the road from the Ravens golf course, which provided us with opportunities for some beautiful walks (hope to come back sometime to play the course - it's magnificent!). The resort is about 10-15 minutes away at the top of the mountain. This home is about 1600 feet lower elevation, which made it warmer and less windy. Loved the hot tub (although only maybe 5 can really fit in it at a time) and the outdoor fireplace, which we kept going each day and evening. The home is well-represented on the VRBO site and on the real estate agent's site, the pictures are very accurate. Loved the expansive outdoor decks. Only drawback is that the master TV and great room TV are on the same dish connection hence couldn't watch different games on TV in each room. Not a biggie that. Oh and the driveway is STEEP! Without 4-wheel drive, must get a bit of speed up on the road to make it up the driveway. Great home, hope to return again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.
