Nestled in large spruce and Norway pines, the cabin is a stone's throw from Buskey Bay, one of six connecting lakes known as the Pike Chain of Lakes. A public boat landing is just one block away, so the angler can enjoy the Musky, Northern Pike, Walleye, Bass, Perch, and panfish found on the nearby lakes. Canoe down the famous Brule River and see why Trout fishermen from around the world travel to Bayfield County.
Located near the Chequamegon National Forest, hiking, biking, and hunting are popular activities.
Winter enthusiasts can ice fish, snow shoe, ski, and enjoy dog-sled races. Snowmobilers and ATV riders have access to Bayfield County's vast trail system, as Loken's log cabin sits directly on one of the county's groomed trails just south of Iron River.

About the owner: Welcome to Loken's Log Cabin!! Our names are Rod and Sue Loken, and we are very happy to be sharing our rustic vacation cabin with you whenever we cannot be up north enjoying it ourselves.
Why the Owner Chose Iron River:
We chose the Iron River area for our vacation home due to our family's interest in both summer and winter outdoor activities. The cabin's unique location is a sportsman's perfect getaway, as it is located near snowmobile trails, ATV trails, great hunting and fishing, water sports, hiking and biking.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Located halfway between Duluth and Ashland or Bayfield, we really have the best spot for the local tourist who wants to spend time seeing everything in the area. Guests can spend time visiting the Great Lake Superior, and end the day with a camp fire at our cozy log cabin.
