This beach home is unique as far as beachfront properties are concerned in Ireland. It was built in 1998 by a firm of renowned Irish architects. A task force of New York designers were sent over to oversee the interiors and furnishings. The architectural features are made up of stone from the nearby quarry of Grange. The pool is the central feature of the property and the flow of the house extends from its centre.
The garden is an outstanding feature of note. Cordyline trees and an abundance of native flowers and flora. A secluded place to relax in privacy with extensive lawn sheltered by large trees. There is a local caretaker to attend to deal with any problems which may arise. Cleaning service available on request. The beach can be floodlit at night so the views of the waves are spectacular, while sitting at a blazing wood burning fire in the living room.
The house has many paintings by Irish and local artists. Generally contemporary in style and form. There is a telescope for stargazing and viewing the ocean. On clear nights one can see the craters of the moon. There are an abundance of board games to amuse. Swimming in the ocean is as near as one can be. Beautiful countryside abounds.
