Our ocean view villa is located on Fripp’s best beach in the ONLY area on Fripp Island with beach available at all tides. You can walk out to the ocean and access the beach using the private sidewalk and beach access. Enjoy the ocean view and breeze while sitting on the covered patio or grilling your favorite foods.
Our villa is perfect for a family or group of friends. Each of the two master bedrooms enjoys a private bath, one with a king and one with a queen-sized bed. The third bedroom contains bunk beds with a double on the bottom and a twin on the top.
Fripp Island is the South's best-kept secret! Located only 15 nautical miles north of Hilton Head, Fripp is a three and one-half-mile-long, secluded, private island, designated as a nature preserve. Just a short drive to some of our country's most historic sites in Beaufort, Charleston, and Savannah, you will soon see why this area has been chosen as the location for top Hollywood movies, including Forest Gump, Prince of Tides, The Big Chill, The Great Santini, and Jungle Book.
You can "kick back and relax" or choose from a variety of active sports: fishing, golfing at George Cobb's Ocean Point Golf Course or Davis Love's Ocean Creek Golf Course (recently awarded four and one-half stars by Golf Digest Magazine), or play tennis on one of ten Fast-Dry or hard courts. Just wanted you to know we had a wonderful time on Fripp last week. In the 25 years I've been coming to South Carolina for vacations this has been by far the nicest accomodation I've stayed in. As an architect, I have to say that some of the unit's craftmanship in construction could have been better, but it is so well laid-out and the views are spectacular! I especially appeciated the way you've decorated the place, very island - like, but understated....well done! We watched dolphins every day, and witnessing the change in weather and tides was dramatic! Being so close to the water just made it all the more special. Being the end of March I knew the weather would be chancey, but for the most part it was real nice....much better than where we were coming from in Wisconsin. Power to the Island went out our last night (probably due to high winds, adding to the drama) but we were going to bed then anyway. The Island has a mysterious spookiness when it's completely dark. My son and daughter thoroughly enjoyed themselves too. What I appreciated most about the island was even though there was quality development going on, the scale seemed appropriate and it didn't seem overdone, like Kiawah is getting to be. We spent time on Hunting Island, knocked around Beaufort and Savannah, and sampled the local restaurants and haunts recommended to us by locals we met up with along the way. The most special treat for us Yankees was being able to walk around in shorts, short sleeves, and sandals all the time this time of year! Many thanks for helping make the trip possible. This will be a place we'll definitely come back to! Gary

Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday ! Your condo is really lovely and comfortable and we appreciated staying there so much.! We fell in love with Fripp Island ! What an amazingly beautiful,tranquil, nature preserve type place. We ended up renting bikes instead of a golf cart and had a blast touring around the island. The only thing missing was a Pat Conroy sighting but that's just another reason to return. Thankyou very much Debby. all the best,
